Joni Allen has a divine voice, can't stop listening this beautiful song

The track is a medley of two Ganesha chants written by Natesh.  The first is 'Vakratunda Mahakaya' and the second is 'Ganesha Sharanam Sharanam Ganesha' (which opens with the mantra Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha).  There is an instrumental transition between the two chants, which are in different keys.  The lyrics for the two different chants are as shown below.  

The track opens with a santoor intro by Madan Oak, and features Yvette Om and Joni Allen joining Natesh on call and response vocals.  In addition to Madan Oak on santoor, it also instrumentally features Steve Oda on sarod, Daniel Paul on tabla, Ben Leinbach on bass guitar, drums and percussion, and Natesh on guitars, drums and percussion.

O, one with twisted trunk and enormous form, who shines more brilliantly than a billion Suns, please bless me that all obstacles be removed from all my endeavors, always.

Salutations to Ganapati (Ganesha).  I seek refuge in Ganesha.

Natesh has been chanting in the kirtan tradition for over 40 years, first connecting with this transformational spiritual practice in 1979.  He has led regular kirtan in Sedona, AZ, since 2004 and has led kirtan at BhaktiFest, ShaktiFest and other festivals. He's composed over 200 chants since 2004 and his chants have been called “some of the most beautiful melodies I’ve heard" and his singing "deeply soulful." His Bliss of Kirtan album has evoked comments like "stunningly beautiful for the ear and for the soul" and "a lovely and profound offering."

In 2016, Natesh became deeply connected with Brahmarishi Mohanji (www.mohanji.org) and has composed a number of chants dedicated to Mohanji, some of which are here on Soundcloud.
