This song I wrote is based off the personal narrative that we had to write for week one of English Comp. I my narrative, I talked about how I really started loving music one summer and how it changed my life and views on what I wanted to do in life. With that being said, I wrote the song as if "Music" was a girl that I had a crush on. I wanted the song to be an intimate connect between my narrative and how I actually felt that summer. 

The beat was produced by KeepItIcy, and he used a sample from Drake's "Best I Ever Had" single has the hook. The reason why I chose to use this beat for the track is because the chorus is perfect for exactly how I feel about "Music". Some of music has become too much vanity and glory, and not enough pureness and passion. The hook is an example of how I see "Music" and how all that glamour does not phase me.
