Nate the Great is an upcoming artist from Far Rockaway, Queens, New York.  With a lo-fi, jazzy, 90s boombap and sometimes alternative rock feel to his songs, He's a talented, versatile lyricist with a desire for music. Combining his love with poetry, storytelling and vivid imaginative imagery, Nate is able to use those elements in his lyricism and give very thoughtful songs. Growing up, Nate had a tough upbringing almost throughout his whole childhood with being bullied and belittled among his peers. But through all the years of him going through so much negativity, He found his escape in video games, Anime, literature, poetry and most of all, music. That's when he took a chance at songwriting and creating raps. In 2014 in his freshman year of high school, Nate began taking his songwriting serious and started to become more sharp with the pen. Then on January 1st of 2017, Nate released his debut mixtape "Positive Music, Positive Thoughts". Later that year he went on to drop his second mixtape "Enjoy The View" and his EP "As I Am". His inspirations are J.Cole, Logic, NF, Eminem, MF Doom, Lupe Fiasco, Earl Sweatshirt, XXXTentacion, Marlon Craft, Nujabes, J Dilla, Ab-Soul, Twenty One Pilots, Blink-182, Bullet For My Valentine, Nirvana, Killswitch Engage, Escape The Fate and In This Moment.
