Rising Tide

I remember I was walking, in a river, through a forest, in a window, my Messiah.

The Forest

Growing up in Fresno, California, taught me a lot of things. One of which is that music is bound-up in the heart and and unwound through the strings.  

I began writing songs on guitar and piano when I was 14, and never stopped. A few years later, I started my first band, Crooked Hoof, and with it entered the music scene in my home-town. At 19, I started a music venue with my best-friend out of a garage in the house we rented. It became a well-known venue hosting many touring bands as well as me and my friends' bands. Crooked Hoof played many house-shows, and also got booked at various clubs and bars around town. 

The band transitioned into one called Propel the Craft. This band had the privilege of being the opener for the incredible band, From Indian Lakes, in the main venue in Fresno for live music. Soon after however, the band members went their separate ways.

I got out of the public music-scene for many years and focused on solo projects. I put out an EP during this time called Lovin, Cryin, Dyin and also some singles. I also began a metal-influenced music project with some friends called Holy Riot. https://soundcloud.com/holy-riot 

Now I'm living in the Middle East and am looking forward to what opportunities lie on the road ahead!
