Patience - Guns N' Roses - Cover Piano by Nathalie ITTA

I invite you to listen to my interpretation and the arrangement at the piano of this great song "Born in' 17 in Leidenstadt " composed and sung by the famous French singer, author and composer Jean-Jacques Goldman, of Polish Jewish origin of his father and German from his mother.
Michael Jones and Carole Fredericks accompanied the singer on this song, each singing a couplet (Michael Jones, of Welsh origin, imagined himself to be a Northern Irishman during the Irish War and Carole Fredericks, of African-American origin, having lived segregation in the United States, imagined herself to be a white and wealthy woman during apartheid in South Africa in Johannesburg).
Leindenstadt is a German word invented for the song meaning "City of Suffering". 
What would we do and what behavior would we adopt if we were at war ?
The true nature of man only emerges in his difficult moments when the instinct of survival awakes ... We do not know in what camp we will be and if we will be heroes, executioners or cowards and helpless ... 
It's a question that we all asked ourselves one day ... and that unfortunately too many people have already had their own answer... 
The song published in 1990 will unfortunately still be relevant and more than ever in this world so uncertain and tensions are increasing ... with many wars ...

Cette musique est magnifique et m'avait beaucoup ému aussi pendant le film...Le film réalisé par un de mes réalisateurs préférés, Ridley Scott, était impressionnant, épique et très dur sur les terribles massacres des Arawaks, peuple Amérindiens...Vangelis a composé une magnifique bande originale de ce film.

I propose you to listen to my interpretation in the ear of the music "Monastery of La Rabida" composed by Vangelis for the movie « 1492 Conquest of Paradise » directed by Ridley Scott.
This music is beautiful and also moved me a lot during the film ... The film directed by one of my favorite directors Ridley Scott, was impressive, epic and very hard on the terrible massacres of Arawaks, indigenous people of South America and of the Carribean  ... Vangelis composed a beautiful soundtrack of this movie.

Je vous propose d'écouter mon dernier arrangement piano à l'oreille du thème principal du jeu vidéo«  Project Zomboid » composé par  Zach Beever, jeune compositeur de 16 ans et très talentueux ! Ce jeu vidéo indépendant est un jeu de survie face à un monde peuplé de zombies ! J'ai mis les terribles phrases d'introduction du jeu au début de ma vidéo ! Je n'y ai pas encore joué, même si j'ai beaucoup joué auparavant aux divers Resident Evil..et surtout les saisons de The Walking Dead dont les scénarios étaient très bien menés et touchants aussi :)

Clubbed to Death Cover - Matrix - Rob Dougan - interprétation et arrangement par Nathalie ITTA

I suggest you listen to my version of The Bridge of Khazad Dum (Fall of Gandalf) composed by the great composer Howard Shore for the movie "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" directed by Peter Jackson.
I am a fan of this universe, I have read all of Tolkien's books and have seen the Lord of the Rings trilogy many times ...

The music is a real masterpiece and I wanted to interpret just a passage of which the scene of the film touched me a lot, the fall of Gandalf on the bridge of Khazad Dum when he fights the Balrog, the demon of fire ... he falls into the abyss swept away by the demon ... then comes the saddest and poignant moment of the film ... the reaction of all his adventure companions ...

Je suis fan de cet univers, j'ai lu tous les livres de Tolkien et vu de nombreuses fois la trilogie du seigneur des Anneaux...
La musique est un vrai chef d'oeuvre et j'ai voulu interpréter juste un passage dont la scène du film m'a beaucoup touché, la chute de Gandalf sur le pont de Khazad Dum lorsqu'il combat le Balrog, le démon de feu...il tombe dans le gouffre emporté par le démon...puis vient le moment le plus triste et poignant du film...la réaction de tous ses compagnons d'aventure...

The Bridge Of Khazad Dum - Fall of Gandalf - LOTR OST - Howard Shore - cover piano by Nathalie ITTA

Je vous propose d'écouter mon interprétation et arrangement à l'oreille du thème de Braveheart «  A Gift of a Thistle » dont la magnifique bande son a été composée par le célèbre compositeur James Horner. Le film, réalisé par Mel Gibson, raconte l'histoire de William Wallace, héros et symbole de l'indépendance Ecossaise, qui s'est battu avec honneur jusqu'à sa fin avec les clans unis écossais contre le roi Edouard 1er d'Angleterre qui tentait d'envahir l'Ecosse. C'est un film magnifique !

J'ai donc mis de belles photos de ce pays magnifique qu'est l'Ecosse pour illustrer mon interprétation au piano.

I propose you to listen to my interpretation and arrangement by ear of the theme of Braveheart «  A gift of a Thistle » whose magnificent soundtrack was composed by the famous composer James Horner. The film, directed by Mel Gibson, tells the story of William Wallace, hero and symbol of Scottish independence, who fought with honor until his end with the Scottish united clans against King Edward I of England who was trying to invade Scotland. It's a magnificent film !

So I put beautiful photos of this wonderful country that is Scotland to illustrate my interpretation on the piano.

" A Gift of a Thistle " - Braveheart theme - Interprétation et arrangement piano par Nathalie ITTA

Je vous propose d'écouter ma deuxième composition  « La Vie » de mon album « Existence ».

Nous nous posons tant de questions existentielles sur notre Vie, notre Mort, ce qu'il y a de l'autre côté du miroir....nous avons tous nos propres opinions, nos croyances sur le déroulement de notre existence, tel que le commencement, la naissance, la vie, la Mort et l'Au-delà...

Cet album est une sorte de réflexion personnelle sur mes ressentis à propos de toutes ses étapes et croyances....
Il y aura des arrangements bien différents et très contrastés musicalement en fonction du thème de la musique ( Epic, très dark mais aussi angéliques et merveilleux)

We ask ourselves so many existential questions about our Life, our Death, what is on the other side of the mirror .... we all have our own opinions, our beliefs about the course of our existence, such as the beginning, life, Death and the Hereafter ...

This album is a kind of personal reflection on my feelings about all its stages and beliefs ....
There will be very different arrangements and very contrasted musically according to the theme of the music (Epic, very dark but also angelic and wonders)

La Vie - Album Existence by Nathalie ITTA

Je vous propose d'écouter mon interprétation et arrangement au piano de la chanson «  The Skye Boat Song ».
C'est une chanson traditionnelle Ecossaise dont mon arrangement est la version de Bear McCreary et interprétée par son épouse Raya Yarbrough pour la série Télévisée Outlander. Bear McCreary a composé toute la bande son de cette magnifique série réalisée par Ronald D Moore qui est une adaptation du roman «  Le Chardon et le Tartan » écrite par Diana Gabaldon.

I suggest you listen to my piano interpretation and arrangement of the song "The Skye Boat Song".
It is a traditional Scottish song whose arrangement is the version of Bear McCreary and performed by his wife Raya Yarbrough for the TV series Outlander. Bear McCreary composed the entire soundtrack for this magnificent series directed by Ronald D Moore, which is an adaptation of the novel of Diana Gabaldon.

That Next Place - Meet Joe Black - Cover piano by Nathalie ITTA

Je vous propose d'écouter mon arrangement et interprétation au piano et à l'oreille de ce sublime chef d'oeuvre de Vangelis... « Chariots of Fire ». Cette musique a été composée pour le film «  Chariots of Fire » ( Les Chariots de Feu)  réalisé par Hugh Husdson en 1981 et inspiré de l'histoire de deux athlètes Anglais de course à pied qui vont participer aux jeux Olympiques de 1924 à Paris.  

Cette musique me donne des frissons à chaque fois que je l'écoute et le film réalisé par Hugh Hudson est aussi un grand moment d'émotion sur le dépassement de soi, l'esprit d'équipe, le respect des autres, la tolérance sur l'antisémitisme, les barrières sociales, les valeurs, l'amitié, la religion...un beau message universel ! 

J'ai donc réalisé une vidéo avec des images de sports représentés aux jeux Olympiques.

Je profite aussi de l'occasion pour dire que je suis si fière de ma fille Chloé, qui a reçu la médaille d'Or officielle de la Fédération Française de Karaté au championnat de Normandie Kata cette année à l'âge de 7 ans et demi 🥇❤️ Elle veut tenter le championnat de France l'année prochaine 😊

I suggest you listen to my and arrangement and piano interpretation of this sublime masterpiece by Vangelis ... "Chariots of Fire". This music was composed for the film “Chariots of Fire” directed by Hugh Husdson in 1981 and inspired by the story of two English running athletes who will participate in the 1924 Paris Olympics .

This music gives me chills every time I listen to it and the film directed by Hugh Hudson is also a great moment of emotion on surpassing oneself, team spirit, respect for others, tolerance on anti-Semistism, social barriers, values, friendship, religion ... a beautiful universal message!

So I made a video with images of sports represented at the Olympic Games.

Chariots Of Fire - Vangelis - Cover piano by Nathalie ITTA

Je vous propose d'écouter ma sixième composition  « La Mort» de mon album « Existence ».
J'avais prévu de sortir cet album depuis bien longtemps mais malheureusement la situation est grave et triste dans le monde...Je voulais juste vous prévenir que c'est une simple coïncidence...je l'ai composé ainsi que les prochaines à venir bien avant que ce terrible coronavirus naisse et se propage partout dans le monde semant la mort et la panique ...je ne vais pas vous remonter le moral ou vous changer les idées et j'en suis désolée mais j'espère que vous l'apprécierez en tant que « sujet de réflexion qui nous concerne tous dans la Vie ». C'est un thème difficile à interpréter et composer mais j'ai voulu faire ressortir une atmosphère solennelle, spirituelle, mystérieuse et inconnue avec un sentiment à la fois de peur, d'angoisse et de tristesse.

Restons solidaire et prenons impérativement  les mesures d'hygiènes et de confinement qu'il faut pour nous protéger et protéger les autres...restons maître de soi et ne paniquons pas face à cette situation inconnue et d'une grave ampleur...Prenez soin de vous !

I had planned to release this album for a long time but unfortunately the situation is difficult and sad in the world ... I just wanted to warn you that it is a simple coincidence ... happens long before this terrible coronavirus is born and spreads all over the world causing death and panic ... I'm not going to cheer you up or change your mind and I'm sorry but I hope you enjoy it as a subject of reflection that concerns us all in life ".
It is a difficult theme to interpret and compose but I wanted to bring out a solemn, spiritual, mysterious and unknown atmosphere with a feeling of fear, anguish and sadness.

Let us remain united and imperatively take the hygiene and confinement measures necessary to protect ourselves and others. Stay in control and do not panic in the face of this unknown and serious situation ...Take Care of Yourself !

Antarctica - Vangelis - Interprétation et Arrangement piano de Nathalie ITTA

I propose you to listen to my ninth composition « Le Néant» from my album “ Existence “.
I tried not to let any emotion appear in this piece ... nothing ... like nothingness but it is not an easy task at all !

We ask ourselves so many existential questions about our Life, our Death, what is on the other side of the mirror .... we all have our own opinions, our beliefs about the course of our existence, such as the beginning, life, Death and the Hereafter ...

This album is a kind of personal reflection on my feelings about all its stages and beliefs ....
There will be very different arrangements and very contrasted musically according to the theme of the music (Epic, very dark but also angelic and wonders)

J'ai essayé de laisser paraître aucune émotion dans ce morceau...rien comme le néant mais ce n'est pas une tâche facile ! 

Nous nous posons tant de questions existentielles sur notre Vie, notre Mort, ce qu'il y a de l'autre côté du miroir....nous avons tous nos propres opinions, nos croyances sur le déroulement de notre existence, tel que le commencement, la naissance, la vie, la Mort et l'Au-delà...

Cet album est une sorte de réflexion personnelle sur mes ressentis à propos de toutes ses étapes et croyances....
Il y aura des arrangements bien différents et très contrastés musicalement en fonction du thème de la musique ( Epic, très dark mais aussi angéliques et merveilleux)

😊I am pleased to inform you that my new album "Créatures et Autres Mondes" will be released on YouTube on Friday June 19.

It is an album which tells the story of Creatures and Other Worlds which marked me a lot during childhood .... All these creatures that we find in stories, fantasy and science fiction movies sometimes scary but also the wonderful stories and adventures that I discovered in my childhood. It is an album where the styles and musical atmospheres are very varied and different ... unlike my old albums which remained in a very precise theme. 

I was not inspired by the musical themes of the great composers of these films but rather my impressions, my resentments when I saw the movie or read the book ..., the hardest part was to compose and follow my emotions, sometimes a little dark because I was very sensitive as a child ... but that did not prevent me from loving horror, fantastic and science fiction films however :) Strong emotions attract me ...

I hope you'll enjoy my work !

😊 J'ai le plaisir de vous informer que mon prochain album « Créatures et Autres Mondes » sortira le vendredi 19 juin.

C'est un album qui raconte l'histoire des Créatures et Autres Mondes qui m'ont beaucoup marqué pendant l'enfance....Toutes ces créatures que l'on retrouve dans les histoires, les films fantastiques et de sciences fiction qui font parfois peur mais aussi des histoires merveilleuses et d'aventures que j'ai découvert lorsque j'étais enfant et adolescente. C'est un album où les styles musicaux et ambiances sont très variées et différents...contrairement aux anciens albums qui restaient dans un thème bien précis. 

Je ne me suis pas inspirée des thèmes musicaux des grands compositeurs de ces films mais plutôt de mes impressions, de mes ressentiments lorsque j'ai vu ou lu ces œuvres..., le plus dur a été de composer et suivre mes émotions parfois un peu sombre car j'étais très sensible enfant...mais cela ne m'a pas empêché d'aimer les films d'épouvantes, fantastiques et de science fiction pour autant  :) Les émotions fortes m'attirent...

Cette chanson a été écrite et interprétée par Pete Townshend, le chanteur du groupe The Who en 1970. 
Elle a été reprise par de nombreux artistes dont Bryan Adams, Sheryl Crow... mais ma version préférée est celle du groupe Limp Bizkit.

En composant cette musique, j'ai pensé à tous les films fantastiques, de fantaisie et les contes de fée qui m'ont émerveillé dans mon enfance.....Des histoires où les enfants sont des héros et découvrent des mondes imaginaires ( L'histoire sans fin par exemple, Les contes de fées et plus récemment le Monde de Narnia et bien d'autres....).

Le Monde Enchanté - Créatures et Autres Mondes - Composition et arrangements de Nathalie ITTA

L'Exorciste, film réalisé par William Friedkin et inspiré du roman de William Peter Blatty est un film qui m'a beaucoup effrayé, le livre encore plus...William Peter Blatty s'est inspiré d'un vrai cas de possession démoniaque et d'exorcisme dont il avait entendu parlé quand il était étudiant. C'est l'histoire d'une jeune fille Regan McNeil, possédée par un démon et deux prêtres exorcistes vont tenter de la libérer... Le thème principal du film « Tubular bells » composé par Mike Oldfield est devenu un classique.

Les scènes sont dérangeantes, angoissantes et certaines malsaines...Ce côté inhumain, ce corps de la petite fille dont le Démon joue avec elle comme un pantin désarticulé...c'est effroyable...

J'ai voulu faire ressortir dans ma composition, cette atmosphère sombre, pesante, démoniaque mystique et dramatique mais aussi une certaine confrontation tragique entre le bien et le mal....Dieu et Satan...

J'aime bien ce genre de films d'épouvante mais ce qui le rend plus angoissant que les autres films, c'est que si l'on croit à ces cas de possession ( car ce sont des films basés sur des témoignages, des histoires qui se seraient soit-disant réellement produites) c'est encore plus terrifiant...

I propose you to listen to my second composition « Possession Démonique» from my album “ Créatures et Autres Mondes”.

The Exorcist, film directed by William Friedkin and inspired by the novel by William Peter Blatty is a film that scared me a lot, the book even more ... William Peter Blatty was inspired by a real case of demonic possession and of exorcism he had heard of when he was a student. This is the story of a young girl Regan McNeil, possessed by a demon and two exorcist priests will try to free her ...The main theme of the movie "Tubular Bells"composed by Mike Oldfield has become a classic.

The scenes are disturbing, scary and some unhealthy ... This inhuman side, this body of the little girl whose Demon plays with her like a disjointed puppet ... it's appalling ...

I wanted to bring out in my composition, this dark, demonic, heavy, mystic and dramatic atmosphere but also a certain tragic confrontation between God and Satan ...

I like this kind of horror films but what makes it more scary than other films is whether we believe in these cases of possession because they are films based on testimonies, stories that would have really happened ... it's even more terrifying ...

Possession Démoniaque - Créatures et Autres Mondes - Composition et Arrangement de Nathalie ITTA

J'ai le plaisir de partager avec vous mon interprétation et arrangement au piano et à l'oreille de «  Exit Music ( For a Film ) », une magnifique et si dramatique chanson du groupe Radiohead faisant parti de leur album « OK Computer ». A sa sortie en 1997, cet album a énormément marqué les esprits et a eu un énorme succès mondial. Il aborde le thème du malaise social, l'aliénation face au monde consumériste moderne, l'isolation et l'effet de la technologie sur la société. Ok Computer est considéré comme l'un des meilleurs albums des années 1990 et restera dans nos esprits pour très longtemps car cet album expose une vision de notre société actuelle ( ultra-consommation, mondialisation, les technologies qui contrôlent de plus en plus nos vies, le malaise social...).
A la sortie de leur album, j'étais au lycée, j'aimais beaucoup ce groupe et je continue à l'aimer aujourd'hui...

I am pleased to share with you my interpretation and arrangement on the piano and in the ear of "Exit Music (For a Film)", a magnificent and so dramatic song from the group Radiohead which is part of their album "OK Computer". When it was released in 1997, this album had a huge impact and had a huge worldwide success. It addresses the issue of social alienation, emotional isolation, and political malaise, alienation from the consumerism and the effect of technology on society. OK Computer is considered one of the best albums of the 90s and will be remembered for a very long time ...because this album presents a vision of our current society (ultra-consumption, globalization, the technologies that increasingly control our lives, social alienation...).
At the release of this album, I was in high school, I really liked this group and I still love it today ...

Ma musique tente à la fois de faire référence au film « Les Dents de la Mer » de Steven Spielberg accompagnée de l'oeuvre musicale de John Williams qui m'ont beaucoup marqué et impressionné mais comme ce fut la découverte de ma créature préférée, le Grand Requin Blanc ( Carcharodon Charcharias) et le début de ma passion et attirance pour ce beau squale depuis mon enfance, en deuxième partie j'ai voulu montrer le côté incroyable de cette espèce si belle, terrifiante, parfaite et impressionnante à la fois !  
C'est le plus grand prédateur des mers qui se place au-dessus de la chaîne alimentaire et malheureusement en voie de disparition à cause de notre propre espèce qui sommes les plus grands prédateurs sur cette Terre... 
Dans ma vidéo, il y a différentes espèces de requins.

I am pleased to share with you my third composition « Requin Blanc » from my album “ Créatures et Autres Mondes”.

My composition tries at the same time to refer to the film " Jaws" by Steven Spielberg accompanied by the great soundtrack composed by John Williams which impressed me a lot but as it was the discovery of my favorite creature since my childhood, the Great White Shark (Carcharodon Charcharias) and the beginning of my passion and attraction for this beautiful shark, in the second part I wanted to show the incredible side of this species so beautiful, perfect, scary and impressive at the same time !
It is the largest predator of the seas which is placed above the food chain and unfortunately endangered because of our own species which are the largest predators on this Earth...
In my video, there are different species of sharks.

" Requin Blanc " - Créatures et Autres Mondes - Composition et arrangement de Nathalie ITTA

J'ai fait 5 années de cours de piano classique au Conservatoire à partir de l'âge de 12 ans.
Je ne suis pas pianiste professionnelle mais le piano a toujours tenu une grande place dans ma vie, je joue souvent le soir pour me détendre et ressentir les douces vibrations des notes et de la mélodie. 

Je joue des partitions de style différent ( Pop, Rock, Classique et musiques de film...).
Les compositeurs qui m'ont inspiré sont Ludovico Einaudi, Hans Zimmer, Yann Tiersen, James Horner, Michael Nyman, John Williams et bien d'autres...
Ce qui me passionne le plus c'est de réadapter une œuvre musicale en y mettant ma touche personnelle. J'ai l'oreille musicale et quand un air me plait, il faut absolument que je l'interprète en le personnalisant.
J'aime particulièrement les musiques de film qui me laissent un plus grand choix d'interprétation.
Depuis Avril 2015, j'ai commencé à composer mes propres musique après la naissance de ma première fille dont j'ai crée l'album « Préludes d'enfance » composé de petites mélodies exprimant toutes les émotions ressenties au cours de l'enfance.
J'ai crée depuis divers albums : 

- Vie précieuse ( un hommage à la « Vie »)
- Supernova ( une dédicace à mon Père passionné d'Astronomie)
- Océan ( un hommage à mes grands-parents de Bretagne)
- Fleurs ( une dédicace à ma Mère passionnée des Fleurs)

Depuis quelques mois,  j'ai débuté la musique assistée par ordinateur pour composer des versions Orchestrales pour donner à mes compositions plus d'ampleur. 

Mon premier album : «  Version Orchestrale » regroupe divers morceaux de mes albums que j'ai remastérisé en version orchestrale.
J'ai décidé de vous faire partager mes compositions et ma passion pour la musique dans le but de vous faire rêver.
Je serai très sensible de recevoir vos avis quant aux émotions que mes morceaux pourraient vous évoquer :-)
Je vous laisse donc découvrir mes divers albums auxquels je posterai un nouveau morceau toutes les semaines.
