Ethiopian-born, Stockholm raised Naliyah is a 21 year old singer-songwriter. Growing up as a third culture kid Naliyah found herself influenced by both Ethiopian jazz and church music, which later in life led to her joining the gospel choir 'Joyful Noise', a subgroup of the infamous 'Tensta Gospel Choir'. In 2018 she moved to London to explore a more vibrant scene and her love for Soul grew even stronger. Creating music is where she finds her most true self and the space to express her thoughts and emotions. Listening to her music you'll find a jazzy voice with luscious vocals, travelling between the soundscapes of Soul and Hip-Hop with a dose of harmonies.
