To make a song it takes time.

To make a song I connect with some chords..then with some old notes or words pouring out the mind. With a special emotion, that fades away with time. 
Then I start to sing a melody over and over. Changing, adjusting. Stopping. Starting again..

To make a song means being ready to go into a journey with myself.
To make a song is opening up to start a process
of never ending possibilities and changes.

Then maybe I decide to record it and again a world for itself open up: which instrument we add? when? how? some more here? less there? Let's re-do this...

Eventually I finish it and I am ready to share it with the world <3

MEDICINE SONG form last summer Juli 2023

Normally I write rock/pop songs, but this was channeled some weeks before my journey with the sacred plant.

It felt weird to record it at HER own terms, but it also felt right.
It is made of 3 different voices:
The healer or shaman that invokes the plant mother, the ayahuasca self that speaks and me^^ at the end with my voice.

What a journey!

P.S. This time I self recorded and adjust it.
Adding the drums is not my favourite things, maybe I will record it properly in the future. Anyway for me a song is a process and it is just in the moment. I get it, write it, feel it, play it, eventually record it and then I let it go and barely play it again. Cause it is an expression of the moment. But this statement can also change :D maybe I will sing it at ceremonies!
