Hagrid Shouldn't Have Said That

I track I composed many years ago that I recently decided to update. The feeling I tried to capture is the calmness experienced during a heavy snowfall without wind, it's quieter than the world normally is, as if the snow itself insulates the air.

Serenity Amongst the Snow

A dark electronic piece created during a phase in my composition in which I sought to master sound sculpting in the realm of electronic music. It draws heavily on influences from various Heavy Metal genres. This definitely resulted in its extremely dark feel and relatively complex structure. 

I may have intended it for use in a Hip-Hop track, so if any viewers feel they could do it justice with their rapping, send me a message and I will discuss a potential collaboration.

It does seem to contain a larger number of melodies and "riffs" (not sure what to call them here) than is typical of the genre. This can only mean one thing: I must now compose a lengthy Progressive-Metal inspired electronic piece, complete with frequent time signature changes, shred-inspired melodic passages, vast use of all elements of music, and, of course, very long tracks. I'm talking 10+ minutes, but unlike other repetive and lengthy tracks found in some electronic sub-genres, there will be a huge variety of chord progressions and melodic passages.
