On our 4th installment of This is Night Bass we’ve wrangled a nice mix of new and familiar names to the label, with sounds ranging from heaviest UKG to the grooviest house. We were stoked to land an epic tune from our globe-trotting Aussie friends Yolanda Be Cool and fellow Aussie bass-maker Wongo. On top of that we’ve got UK legends Champion and DJ Q each gracing our compilation with serious garage heaters. Night Bass resident badman Sinden drops some bassy darkness, while label newcomers Born Dirty, Dillion Nathaniel and Udachi deliver the quality goods, and Bijou returns with his first solo tune on Night Bass. There’s definitely something for everyone here!

Primal is exactly how you’ll feel when you’re furiously gun-fingering to Primal Yak’s latest corker - Come On is the Newcastle/Brighton based producer’s first time on 3000 Bass and is a bouncing 3 minutes 16 of high-tempo synths, punchy snares, and a stuttering vocal sample that’ll make you shuffle back to the Stone Age. There’s shifting beat changes and a long-ish outro that’ll make this a perfect 2AM foot-stomper - If you’re lucky enough to be a Geordie or ever find yourself “doon the Toon” you can catch Yak at his residency for Ill Behaviour events at Cosmic Ballroom, where the only misbehaving will be your mate’s dancing to this absolute weapon.

Birdy - Hold On

Nathan Bird, pka Birdy is a 24 year old bassline producer hailing from Mansfield, UK.

Inspired by heavyweight hitters such as Skepsis, Darkzy & Notion, Birdy delved into production in 2018.

Having released a string of top shelf free downloads such as 'All I Need', 'Detective' and 'Venom', Birdy was enlisted to release on Birmingham based label WOB! with his hit 'No Doubt' which has since amassed over 15,000 streams.

Enlisted by Albzzy, 'Realer' was released on FooR's label YosH as part of 'Yosh Volume 4' compilation album, alongside names such as Isenberg, Mofaux, MODA and more.

Having only been producing for less than 2 years, Birdy has already crafted a distinctive sound within the bass realm, creating nothing but consistency high level productions across his releases. From the sound design, to the structuring, to the mixdown, each track pushes boundaries and further secures Birdy as one of the most promising newcomers inside the scene.
