Its too late to be walking on sleetmoor lane,
ashing cigarettes on my hands again.
sometimes this can be soothed by the pouring rain,
which is such a shame because i love the pain.

feels like everyday is just the same old shite,
drinking alcohol to ease the pain at night.
i light a cigarette and then its all alright, 
for a moment i stop thinking about suicide.

in the fast food resturants i sit and i stare, 
at the lonesome lonely glow in the cold night air.
i think about the clothes you wear and the way you had your hair,
no matter where i go i see you everywhere.

Everytime i leave im gone longer than the last,
i pass the many stations but i never ride the track. 
this old idea of loneliness i think ive got the knack,
i grab my glasses hat and coat dont know when i'll be back.

Acoustic guitar pattern is the invention of Fergus mertagh a friend of mine. he came up with when we were hanging out a long time ago. i just exspanded on it here and added lyrics, guitar, bass, flute and some other funky shit, and drums, bassically i turned those three chords in to a whole song.
