Artwork and Lyrics description for “Soul on Fire” 🌱

 The Plant & Mushrooms: 
    If you have mushrooms populate around your plantings this typically is a result of overwatering/ moist soil allowing for fungal growth. This correlates with my message of the song “set my soul on fire, if I won’t need it more” because sometimes in life we continuously water things we want to grow while forgetting to focus on our lives as a whole… so much so that it results in negative growth within and or due to our favorite things when we forget to take care of ourselves in other regions of our lives. The beautiful tropical plant depicts the desire/ hobby/ love in our lives we love so much and the mushrooms depict the toxicity and intrusion into other areas of our garden of self. 

 The Fire:
    The Fire depicts our demolition of bad habits, though sometimes difficult we need to let go of the things that brought us us to success, growth, enjoyment if they become toxic to our health, happiness and inner peace. It may be difficult to destroy the beautiful thing you hold so dearly but when achieved you will grow it back wiser and stronger. 

The Bags of Soil/ Shovel: 
    When you perform a heavy burn on soil it will throw off the Ph levels and nutrients within the soil so therefore the bags of soil next to the man in the photograph depict our fresh base to lay down once matured and re-aim sights for new growth in all aspects of our lives not just one plant that we love so much but rather our entire garden of self. 

The Man: 
    The man is the thinker, the soul, the body all in one. What the man depicts is the one to take action, which is you and only you. You’re the one that will have to start the fire though difficult to do so and you’re the one who will have to engage in the rebuild and betterment of the garden.

  I truly hope these messages and the song resonate with the ones who need it most and may be going through a time in life where they know they need readjustment. It is okay to let go of the “soul” you think you’ve come to know, because that is in fact the mind telling itself that this is its identity. Your soul cannot be labeled as it is the true you and is love. I hope you all rebuild and grow.

The Calm depicts life after depression. It is coming to the realization that after all of the chaos the calm remains.

Became Myself is about coming to be the true you by relinquishing pain and depression throughout your healing process and becoming the best version of yourself by past lessons you now put into good use.

Balanced is about performing better in times of chaos, coming from the Marines this is a contact training tool to use. We constantly practice how we play which correlates to life outside the military where as it becomes a strength and weakness. It is okay to work within the chaos and even invite chaos to give you a nudge, it is important however to not let it consume you and take you over, rather use it as a motivation tactic.

Balanced

Lost in waves depicts a surfers connection to the oceans pull. It describes living through hellish depression and days while figuring life out but reviving the calm within the inner soul when his feet hit the sand with his board and as he enters the water all pain and stress is released and he becomes fully lost in waves.

Find my sound is about Nathans journey through music after ending active duty service. He has yet to stick to one genre testing new sounds out since 2020 however as 2025 hits he has reimagined his outlook on his craft of self production to find. sound that is unlike any other artist and resonates with the listener emotionally, lyrically and mentally getting them more in touch with their true self and motivating them to become better in the process.

Originally from Cape Cod MA, Nathan joined the Marines in 2014 moving to California deploying two times within his 5 year career. Once ending his active duty service he found music as an outlet to convey and process emotions that became heavy when leaving the military. Nathan now has created 2 EPS, 1 Album Solo Produced as well as 20+ Singles working with producers from all different walks of life as well as self produced. His music conveys internal spiritual change and awakening while remaining fun and relaxing within the vibe of the sound.
