An arrangement of this popular song by Outkast from bass player Chris Hon. This is a quartet version of the tune with Robert Perez (piano), Chris Hon (bass) and Nick Hon (drums). This track was recorded as a part of our submission to the Angel City Young Artist Series which the group was selected as one of four finalists.

Bolivia Solo

Nathan King is a saxophone player in the Orange County and LA area.  
He has studied with great musicians such as Gary Foster, Dan St. Marseille, Jeff Ellwood, James Rotter, Chris Bartz, Ben Smolen, Doug Masek, Harry Allen, Bob Sheppard, Peter Sommer, Rob Lockart and Eric Marienthal. He has played under names such as Bob Mintzer, Bill Cunliffe, John Carnahan, Robert Reynolds, Frank Ticheli and many others. Nathan also has education in music theory and improvisation from top musicians and professors at the Idyllwild Summer Arts Workshop and the CSU Summer Arts Saxophone Workshop. 
His quartet has played at jazz venues including the Catalina Jazz Club as a part of their Young Artist Jazz Series. They were also selected as one of four finalists to play at the Blue Whale for the Angel City Jazz Young Artist Award. Nathan is also a member of the Quarter ‘Till Quintet, Doxologia, and the Cal State Fullerton Wind Symphony and Jazz Orchestra. 

He has been a teacher of woodwinds, music theory and jazz improvisation for a number of years in the Southern California area both privately and through local schools including the Orange County High School of the Arts. 
He is currently attending California State University, Fullerton pursuing a Bachelors of Music in Saxophone Performance with an Emphasis in Jazz Studies.
