デビューシングル”Fade Away e.p.”が好評価を獲得！そしてsauce81 x WN第２弾E.P.が登場！2013年２月、ワンダフルノイズより放ったデビューシングル”Fade Away e.p”が国内外で好評価を獲得！Dj Nature、ONRAなどのトップDJが支持/プレイされ続けている中、WN x sauce81による第２弾シングルが登場！ アートワークは前作続き、小田祐二氏が担当。

A-1. it's about time 
ロウで温もりのあるシンセと自らの(スウィートな)ボーカルが絡み合うディープなソウルチューン。デトロイト産のヒップホップやネオソウルの様なサウンドでもありながら、イーブンキック(4つ打ち)をキープするスローなディープハウス的アプローチのトラックでもある。"it's about time to reach you, touch you, hold you, love you"  

A-2.put it all on
粗い質感のドラムやパーカッションのサウンドに、浮遊するフェンダーローズとドープなベースライン。その上をとめどなくゆっくりと移ろうリードシンセと、それを優しく包み込むアープ・シンセのストリングスがムーディでドラマチック。後半のフリーキーな展開はDJプレイにもスパイスを与えてくれる、ジャズ・フュージョン・ビートダウン。

B-1.modulation
ドラムマシーンのグルーヴとローエンドで鳴り響くサブベース。その上で生々しく刻まれるノイズ成分多めなシンセサウンドは前作"Fade Away EP"収録の'Stop Lovin''以上にアグレッシブ。迫り来るリードシンセと飛び交う無秩序なノイズは聴く者の理性を煽り、気付けば宇宙空間へとスペーストリップ。コズミックフライトをナビゲートするロボットの如きヴォコーダーが加わり、シンセサイザーが織り成すヒップホップ・アティトゥードのテクノへと昇華。

B-2..the message
プリミティブなパーカッションとラフなボーカルカットアップ、フェンダーローズのリフ、スラップベースがポリリズミックに絡み合うアフロフレイバーなブロークンビーツ〜ジャズファンク。心地良く揺らめくルーズなリードシンセやクラップ、ロウな質感は、ウェストロンドンのそれよりも、さながらDJ Relsを経たヘッドハンターズ的な仕上がりに。

Almost exactly 6 years after the release of "Deeper Shades EP Volume 1", Lars Behrenroth decided it's time to release more of his music. The 50th Deeper Shades Recordings release including 4 tracks with a total runtime of 35 minutes is an EP (Extended Player) in its truest sense.

The first track "Kord" is a deep and spacey groover which unleashes its full groove half way through. 
"Keep On", the 90's reminiscent track 2 on this EP is straight for the floor and a name familiar to all from Volume 1, Chezere, completes it with her vocal talents. 
"Time" is a melancholic and heady trip full of warm and deep chords and the last track "Denots" is an almost 12 minute long mid tempo journey through synthesizer and Rhodes sounds alike.  

Much like Volume 1, this 2nd edition of the Deeper Shades EP series is a small representation of Lars' taste and selection.

He recently took his selecting skills to Holy Ship!, you can find him in Miami in a few days for a WMC party with some of the other Dirtybird Crew and the list of BBQ's and Festivals on the agenda is setting up to be a great summer indeed for Mr. Darko. He put together an incredible mix for us that will get you movin for sure and we are excited to share it with you!
