Crimson & Clover is the dream child of three old friends who have known each other since they were kids. They are a Gold Coast band formed in 2017 that consists of singer Jake Nixon, guitarist Gary Handelaar, vocals and guitarist Nathan West, Bassist Ryan Fraser and Samuel Cain on the drums.

Gary, Sam and Ryan once played together in well-known local metal band Nightmares. After Nightmares broke up, Nathan and Gary got in touch with Jake about reviving the old childhood dream of starting a punk rock band. For many years, Jake had been playing small acoustic gigs around the Gold Coast and had almost given up on the music scene all together.

The band draws inspiration from many of the old bands they all loved as teenagers such as blink-182, Brand New and Jimmy Eat World. The heavier influence of Gary’s musical talents mix perfectly with Jakes harmony driven melodies to create a high energy punk rock five piece with catchy hooks you can sing along with.

After a year of writing, jamming and hard work, they released there debut EP ‘The Space Between Us’, recorded completely by themselves and engineered by their own drummer Sam Cain.
