The 2014 Soloist Competition was held on Friday 7th March in the Swinburne Hall, Colchester Institute. Entries came from Extended Diploma students and Bachelor of the Arts Students. 

A Free Event for the public, the first of three competitions was warmly received. Our guest-Adjudicators, Fiona Dermit and Janet Brook, had the difficult task of announcing a winner from the 11 entries. 

Their decision at the end of the evening was firstly praise for all students and some insightful feedback to help them in future performances.

Commended Performances: Simone Green, Declan Flannery, Tetyana Warren.
