In psychology and psychiatry, anhedonia (/ˌænhiˈdoʊniə/ an-hee-doh-nee-ə; Greek: ἀν- an-, "without" and ἡδονή hēdonē, "pleasure") is defined as the inability to experience pleasure from activities usually found enjoyable, e.g. exercise, hobbies, music, sexual activities or social interactions. While earlier definitions of anhedonia emphasized pleasurable experience, more recent models have highlighted the need to consider different aspects of enjoyable behavior, such as motivation or desire to engage in an activity ("motivational anhedonia"), as compared to the level of enjoyment of the activity itself ("consummatory anhedonia").

 '' MDMN music can be considered as shoegaze - post rock, but definitely not limited to the idea. It’s more sort of a cross between of Cocteau Twins predominantly Robin Guthrie tripping guitars ,the darkness of My Bloody Valentine, and over a gazing daisy atmosphere of Pink Floyd-ish peace and serenity. But again the idea behind the music is not limited to a specific genre, as it covers a variety of emotions. As good as ΜDMN is being a solo artist he is also a multi-instrumental player and who describe his music as “Stargazing”.
“MDMN” brings together a whole lot of vibes. It’s eclectic post-rocκ, dreamrock, ambient-shoegaze, with a touch of symphonic elements. Music for movies, theatrical plays and documentaries, commercials and advertisements. All done in singularity. ''
