2013 wasn't my most musical year overall, but I did make a lot of video game music while making DOOM mods, and these songs were featured in a reboot of The Plutonia Experiment, which was one of the two official map pack releases that came with Final DOOM.

DA's got no case!
You point a gun, and some of them don't believe it's loaded.
Use a knife, they wanna fight.
One smash in the mouth with this and they got a 4000 buck dentist bill!

Exploding Head Syndrome

You're spending another Saturday night alone, watching reruns of Airwolf when you hear a loud crash outside your window.

You get up to open the blinds but find nothing out of the ordinary. 

As you turn around, two alien beings are sitting on your couch, but before you can say anything one of them changes the channel on your tv.

“Hey, I was watching that!” you exclaim, but they pay no attention.

You look at the television and see yourself on the screen, sitting on your couch watching reruns of Airwolf.

One of the aliens murmured, “Pretty neat, huh. Do you like magic tricks?”

“Yeah, I guess so.” you hesitantly reply.

“Pick a card, any card.”

You draw a card from the deck and see that it’s a four of clubs.

The alien hands you a pen and you sign your name in the center.

Without showing the face, you insert the card back into deck and watch as it gives them a few shuffles.

The alien asks if you want to cut the deck, you say no.

The other being waves its hand over the cards in a dramatic manner and pulls out a jack of diamonds.

“Is this your card?”

You try to say no, but start to feel as if you’re going to throw up.

As you run toward the bathroom you become extremely confused by the layout of your own home.

Hallways you never new existed begin to appear, and you can’t distinguish one room from the next.

Finally, you collapse from the stress and vomit spills out of your mouth and nose until there’s nothing left.

Almost nothing.

You feel something solid stuck in the back of your throat. You try your best to cough it up but it just won’t budge.

One of the aliens firmly smacks the back of your neck, dislodging a folded card as you catch it in your hands.

You unfold the card to reveal a four of clubs, with your signature on it.

As you look up, you find yourself alone on your couch, watching reruns of Airwolf.
