this is absolutely one of the best songs of all time, you have awesome taste in music, nathan! i'm actually comparing to the original version from my own collection, just to give you some constructive criticism, if possible. i seem to have only two minor quibbles - the first is so minor as to be almost non-existent, i think the tempo on your version is very slightly faster than the original, virtually imperceptible but just the feeling that i get; the second has to do with the tone when the solo kicks in, i think it should be crisper, like it gets seconds later, right from the start of the solo - i'll point it out right at the spot. 

this is where it gets crisper, i think it's a different track, but maybe it's that you switched pick-ups? i just listened to the original at this point, and the tone does get crisper here and it is right on, but i still think the solo at the start should be a little crisper than it is. all in all great job so far, i can't wait to here the finished product!

Technical facility is great as always, man. Just be mindful of groove! Also, I'm ready to hear more of your original stuff!

This is a song written by the very talented Phil McWalter with the incredible Rick Medlock on drums. Phil asked if I would like to put some guitar on this song and I asked Hedd  to sing on the end. Hedd and I came up with these lyrics based on Phil's title, believing the only way we can move forward in the USA is if our government can find common ground that benefits all Americans. Phil and Rick did such a great job  with this song and it's an honor to be included.
