Love Era

This is my first release with YION records, By Means of an Angel.

I often get inspired to make music when I am near the ocean, and you can hear my recordings of the waves in this track. They create a nice atmospheric bed for the rest of the instruments to sit on. 

The main synth and bass sounds are automated with filters which are constantly opening and closing to mirror the coming and going of the waves on the beach.

I hope you enjoy listening to this one as much as I enjoyed making it.

UK born, Australia-based producer, Nathan Shaw, was exposed to music at an early age by his father and uncle, both lifelong musicians. Nathan's musical curiosity led to lessons in piano, violin and drum kit and a formal music education in school and college.

Drawing inspiration from the long, sunny days, warm waters and clear blue skies of the Gold Coast, Nathan blends his own natural field recordings and beautiful melodies with driving and impactful grooves, to create a signature sound that blurs the boundaries of Organic, Melodic, and Deep House.
