Nathan Solo is music producer, live act, and DJ. Coming from Prague warehouse techno scene. Active over nine years in underground techno, electro, ambient and similar genres of electronic music. Analog and digital.

He started his musical journey in 2013 as a member of live act duo Binar, that was closely related to Polygon - Prague warehouse techno movement. During that time he meet many influential artists that deeply affected his music taste and inspired his own productions.
Producers like Kangding Ray, Vril, Sleeparchive, or Karenn might not seem too close to Nathan’s music but their imprint is noticeable in some parts of Nathan’s work.

His studio recordings are thoroughly researched works of precision with a little dose of experiment. When playing music live, however, he works with trial and error attitude. Nathan is researching what the machines want to say and creating man machine dialogue. Live jam or hardware improvisation one would say. His live music is an eclectic mix of moods and styles, from deep melancholic ambient textures to broken electronic music, from minimalistic bleepy techno patterns to faster tempo bangers full of distorted sounds. Nathan works with layers, textures and walls of sound, that are blending together to become a self healing journey both for him and his audience.

Outside the music world, Nathan Solo goes by the name Matěj Moravec. His daytime job is graphic design. His influence on Prague music scene is not only sonic, but visual as well – he often provides visuals for various Prague based collectives. Most notably for the XYZ Project run by Oliver Torr or recent work on Endless Illusion new website and last release of the head of the label – Exhausted Modern. The career of a graphic designer was the key reason for him to move to Lausanne in 2017. Nathan currently lives and works there. 

Analog media lovers will certainly be interested in the cassette, which was released last summer on his own newly emerging label Solo Catalogue.

If you've spent any time going to parties in Prague or Lausanne over the past few years, you've probably seen his name on a couple flyers.
On his episode, Nathan shows the whole gamut of styles, from intricate and fussy minimalist drums to chunky bottom end tracks. For best results, play when it’s dark.

Pavel Chalupa aka PDCH is part of dj scene in Brno, CZ for over a decade now and is actively performing in various clubs all over the city and often also elsewhere. Pavel is known for his specific "whatever" approach to djing where he rarely prepares his material and rather leaves it for the magic of the moment. You can usually hear him spin tracks ranging from zero to around 140 bpm while keepin' it in various moods of ambient, house, techno, breaks, trance and what nots. For this show he reached for some fresh material & favourites, keeping it pacing around 125 bpm with taste of deeper house moods & little bit of trance vibes.

Next up in our mix series is Voiski. From his Iranian background, Voiski has always been very connected to spiritual music and trance in particular. The element of repetition is ongoing through his catalogue, creating a direct link to his beloved minimalistic classical composers and his roots. Voiski is part of several constellations aside from his main alias, Vrilski (with Vril) and Wav (with Wata Igarashi) to name a few. 

Indulge in this live-set recording by Voiski, immerse yourself in its hypnotic allure of constantly evolving elements and swirling melodies. Expansive psychedelic club music, with an yet precise edge.
