◾How did you come up with your dj name: Actually having drinks with friends at Barrelled and Tobi came up with it in seconds!! He’s the best!!

◾When did you start djing: I still remember the date : March 16th, 2019
It was a Saturday and I was at Kyle’s. He had to work and I just went for it… I used to play on turntables when I was like 17-18 years old but that was only for like 6 months and I lost all the equipment… so there’s that 😂

◾Favorite dj moment: Hands down my favorite DJ moment was Opening up for Spencer Brown with my husband Kyle Field as Steely and Bardez!!!! 

◾Favorite genre/subgenre to spin: My favorite genre well I have two: Techno and Progressive House

◾Favorite artists: My Favorite artists are Brennen Grey, Anthony F Collins, Leandro Taibbi, Cosmic Boys, Marsh, Sasha and John Digweed and well this could take forever

◾Favorite labels: Beenoise Records, Drumcode Records, K NT XT, and Armada Music are some that come to mind right away .

Kurt Kjergaard Dj & Producer and Resident Dj On V1 Radio Melbourne - Australia comes from the high north of Germany. His versatility is
impressive: from Techno to Progressive to Tech House, he has everything under control. Indeed, this diversity is evident in Kurt’s original releases(Cocuna Records) as well as in his popular podcasts "Outside the Box", "Beach Podcast" and "The Sound Of Organic House & Downtempo".

Kurt Kjergaard is the owner and founder of the well-known podcast series Beach Podcast on Soundcloud, where weekly DJ mixes from all over the world can be heard, from well-known artists to newcomers.

Kurt Kjergaard started Djing in the 90s and has played in various clubs in his city. He produces himself and has already made remixes for other artists. He is under contract with the record label Cocuná Records, but he has already released tracks on many other labels.

His mix series "Outside The Box" and "Into Dive" are one of the most played mixes at the moment. With his new mix series "The Sound Of Organic House & Downtempo" Kurt has launched (yet again) another great mix series.

Powered by organic percussions and buoyant melodies, the German artist’s debut session is simultaneously brittle and exhilarating.

Born in Holland in a military family she traveled Europe then landed in the US and found home in Charlotte, NC. Finding EDM at a young age she started listening and engaging in the scene in the 90’s. She works as a Landscape Designer/Pool Designer and on her free time produces and creates mixes for a number of guest podcast while also having opening duties for several international headlining acts.
