Our OrcheStar have created a piece of music that represents the loss and despair of war for the forthcoming Everyman / StarTheatre production of ‘Poppy.’ The players chose instruments they wanted to play, and used a sequence of notes agreed in rehearsals. A backing track has been added to the recording and was used during rehearsals to support players with timing and dynamics. Dance students will be making a film to accompany the music and this will be included in the tour, beginning 25 June 2015.

Lewis talks about his mission to give his communicator a cheeky Geordie accent, and how, with the help of his friend Rob, his dream has just come true. Amazingly, this is the first time a communicator has been given a personalised accent. Lewis also talks of his love for the sport Boccia.
