Since a young kid, Cleveland bred artist Native Rose has always believed that life is meant to be a story. No matter how the picture is being painted, he knew that creating his own story will leave a long lasting legacy for generations to come. It wasn’t until he was 12 years old when he knew that everything changed.

Back in 2013, Rose & two of his closest friends were assigned to a music project, in which they decided to do a performance, and the artist(s) that were randomly assigned to them was the American indie pop band “Fun.” After performing the song “Some Nights” in front of Kindergartners who were exhilarated from the performance, Rose knew that music was his long found dream. 

Native Rose has musical influences that dates back to the 1980’s-1990’s “Gangsta Rap” and R&B, to influences of artists taking over the game today. He has been involved in music since he was 9 years old, being in choirs up until High School. 

Rose’s music consist of versatile beat selection, with a hip-hop melody distinguished in an R&B tune. He describes music as his “therapy” as he encourages others to chase what makes them the happiest. He plans on dropping his first solo EP “I’ll Never Die” in the Summer of 2024.
