After 3 EPs and one mixtape released this summer, the BRC team rides up the league very fast, adding to its score 13 original tracks for the BRC Studio Essential Mixtape. The record label continues to explore legendary athletes agility, but swaps its white ball for an orange one. Following Eric Cantona, Basile Boli and Ronaldinho, Kobe Bryant completes the squad. It’s not about performance but style, artistic body moves, mentality and vision that turns athletes into mentors.

BRC built this mixtape as a sport game, with an ambient intro and a gradual rise of BPM transposed by dislocated beats of UK Bass and acid house. The game reaches its peaktime at 160BPM with ghetto house banger Dont’ Stop. With dry and rounded variations, the mixtape’s kick explores all of our muscles. To defeat our opponent, we need to slalom between ghetto tech, trap free style and breaked house. The last dance goes to a poppy stroll that relieves in a warm hug sweaty bodies.

Now, The Prodigy don't need no introduction. Their music and tunes have perhaps influenced all of us proper headz, and I'm no exception - in matter of fact they were my first techno/rave music to discover on the NFS:MW 2005 OST haha. I love their earlier stuff, I'm like an addict when it comes to those anthems. Remixing Prodigy ain't no easy task, but I had fun and didn't overthink it - so here is the result: a 160 4/4 groove banger, made to bring power on the dance-floor and constantly wanna keep you at hyperspeed state of mind, you know what I mean?

This EP was made on direct percussion and stabs, without the influence of timeless fashion trends. You can listen to it in different planes in order or backwards, start with the even ones, and continue with the odd ones and vice versa, everyone will find the optimal sequence for themselves.
