Looking Away

“Snooze” is the title track of my debut EP. It talks about the current dating culture and how vain and insecure it makes us all feel. It can confuse you to the point where you’d rather be alone or always in search of something more. "Snooze" explores personal growth and the search for meaningful connections in this fleeting world. The song captures the essence of not wanting to fall into a familiar repetitive pattern and taking a chance at finding something true and honest.

I don’t wanna waste my time, skimmin’ through these names, yeah, it’s all the same game
2,4,8 and 6 are on my mind, but I didn’t wanna stay, maybe it’s okay

Everybody wants someone to say their lines to (too soon)
Read the rules, I hit the snooze too often (when I’m with you)
I won’t make the same mistakes but do they rhyme, (I’m confused)
I don’t wanna take the fall, I’ve been standin’ tall but I feel small

I’ve been at this for quite sometime, got me talking’ bout my feelings, baby, I don’t need no healin’ 
Backspace, just might bounce, been nickel-and-dimed. The more I pull away, yeah, with time I’ll be okay.
