BLASFÊMEA é Luísa Leão, artista, psicanalista e produtora cultural nativa de São Paulo, onde atualmente tem a oportunidade de compartilhar experiências multiculturais desde 2018 através do coletivo e selo autônomo DARQ. 

Sua intenção por trás de sua pesquisa é a de resgatar e atualizar a memória musical explorando diferentes gêneros de diferentes períodos da história para construir uma narrativa, especialmente inspirada por atmosferas densas e enigmáticas. 

Esta seleção sonora busca contar em não-palavras sobre os afetos da jornada introspectiva rumo às fronteiras e abismos da mente e do corpo, do consciente e do inconsciente, do tudo e do nada.

The shape-shifting productions of Chinese-Malaysian artist Flora Yin-Wong can be traced back to an eclectic range of sources – from lo-fi field recordings and UK dance culture to Daoist ideas and traditional Chinese instruments. Growing up in London, she started out as a guitarist in art-rock bands before finding her footing in the club scene, playing house and techno at her own parties.

A longtime associate of Berlin experimental label PAN, Flora Yin-Wong contributed ghostly melodies to the acclaimed ambient compilation mono no aware and has recently released her debut album Holy Palm on Modern Love – an exploration of metaphysics, memory and superstition that weaves a vivid sonic tapestry through field recordings and abstract textures.

Her sketch moves under the shadow of a dembow rhythm, marking out the beat in heavily syncopated ticks and cracks. Chimes and bells ring out like haunted clocks and plucked balalaika strings seem to echo the passing of time, but these eerily ancient sounds soon collide with computer futurism thanks to Flora’s off-kilter arrangement and piercing dramatic percussion.

I am very happy because these days I have been listening to one of the music that most attracted me years ago. After high school and saturated with listening rock, I began to be interested in jazz, becoming a super fan of the genre, especially funk jazz from the late 70's and early 80's.
Now again the funkiest scene has resurfaced, especially in London where it have great bands that are making fabulous music. 
Here you can find some of the pieces that I liked the most, all the tracks are edited in the spirit of the beatmakers compressing many songs in a short time. I hope you enjoy and my apologies to all who miss the parts i cut. :)
