Dutch underground hero, De Sluwe Vos introduces his new record label, Native Swamp, with an exclusive collaboration project with legendary Dutch beat maker, Kubus.

You can tell a Kubus production from a mile away, it's his unique style that sets his beats apart. A punk mentality that perfectly mirrors De Sluwe Vos' sound. Picking from hours of analog jams, they have created a patchwork of audio that marries the strangely familiar with the playful and unexpected; a beautifully dark and twisted tale bound by a rawness and creative fire.

Straddling the House and Techno hinterland using rare synthesisers for a warm, gritty sound 'Virtual Excursion' flexes its muscles from the off. Deeply hypnotic, the rhythms take you quickly, ebbing and flowing to the vibe, offering moments of high emotion along the way. A perfect blend of raw beats, instinctive sound design and a wink of hip hop mentality in its production.

A worthy introduction to Native Swamp.

Virtual Excursion

Up next for Native Swamp an exciting new homegrown talent, Sam Waitin.  

A lover of PSX music, and part of Explorers of the Internet, Sam has made his first steps in the underground house scene with some astounding self-released albums soundtracking imaginary computer games. After meeting at a demo session, Robert (De Sluwe Vos) was blown away by his mature sound and signed him up immediately!

 'My Love' is pure '90s House escapism. Funky pianos and a skippt beat bounce along with the rubbery bass. Distilled audio joy from start to finish. 'Tellin Myself' with Nuphory is an upbeat 8-bit house cut chuck full of fun. From the piano chords to the stompy offbeat bass, this is as infectious as it gets.   

Changing genres, something Sam does with consummate ease, 'In Circles' drops a deep, liquid DnB vibe. Smooth and hypnotic, it draws you in with a warm digital hug and a kind word. Finally 'Bonus' puts the breaks on with a clever Balearic groove. Its the soundtrack to the best videogame you've never heard of.

John Mood and De Sluwe Vos join forces for a brand-new EP on Native Swamp, the label and creative sanctuary founded by Robert. More than just a platform, Native Swamp is evolving into a physical space where uncompromising artistic expression thrives.

This EP is the result of a longstanding friendship between two producers and DJs-a collaboration that came to life organically, with no predefined direction. It takes listeners on a journey through the musical influences they've shared over the years. From slowed down heavy IDM to melancholic melodies and hypnotic soundscapes, every track reflects the freedom with which it was created.

An ode to nostalgia, experimentation, and the pure joy of making music together.
