Behind its alluringly exciting title, 'Kinky Panda' is more of a Techno straight shooter than a romantic enticer. While the title track does seduce with its initial subdued syncopation, it unfolds into a highly dynamic and dance-commanding number. Hollen dives into dark, late-night territory on his remix, adding a maddening percussion layer that makes for a mesmerizing pattern. 
Closing the EP, Mihai Popoviciu takes on a more expansive approach and adds depth through cavernous layers and its spaced out, relentless bassline.

Dance Vibes – the eagerly awaited EP and label debut from prolific Russian-born producer Boris – will be released on August 26 via Paco Osuna’s esteemed imprint Mindshake Records. 

Featuring a trio of brand new, original productions from New York-based stalwart, Dance Vibes yet is another masterfully crafted EP on Mindshake from a vintage producer at the very top of his game.

Combining a diverse range of influences from across a wide sonic spectrum, Boris’s groovy, rolling tech-house foundation is placed within a darker, danceable tension bent across the entire EP. 

From the inexorable title track Dance Vibes, to the groovy hypnotism of The Spot, all the way through to the aptly titled closer Let Me Dance, Boris’s productions are full of hypnotic, soaring peaks and mesmerising lows, all held together by a glut of trippy samples and unyielding drum patterns. 

Dance Vibes comes just two weeks after the release of Boris’s two-track EP The Vision on Oliver Huntemann’s Senso Sounds.

Things have been kinda crazy for me lately so it's been hard to spend time creating new material - I've been practicing for shows, working on albums and singles to release, doing mixes etc on top of regular life stuff. Sometimes though I get really overwhelmed and just have to stop everything and make a song. These are some of those random rough beats from the past few weeks (and some earlier) that I never got a chance to finish and may never get back around to.
