[PREMIERE] Chlär - We Will Bring It Back (LT087)

Following their releases on Haven, Bite, and R-Label Group we are ecstatic to welcome New Frames (@newframesofficial) with their premier EP for LFEK.
Their A1 track delivers an opening volley in the form of a genuine diesel engine. “Heart Racer” goes full throttle with rolling acid arpeggiators and bittersweet melodies. A track we eagerly await in one of their infamous live sets.
In A2 “Burn Rate” offers a claustrophobic vision with its phantom whispers and pumping bass lines.

The B side kicks off with another entry into the ever-expanding, micro-genre bending multiverse of New Frames. 
B1 “Final Fantazy” delivers high octane action as breakbeats go head to head with trance stabs. And finally in B2 “Givv Fukk” ghetto riffs find themselves strapped onto industrial drums.

He already released many tracks on Neurochocked label, and a banging track on Carbon Audio Records 5 last year. Our latest premiere is now online featuring a DJ IBON remix of Sligo's 'Aurora' forthcoming on Italian label Kriptika Records.

For the release Sligo, a newborn electronic artist brings a downtempo, breakbeat and atmospherical track which has been remixed by the four other artists showing different shades of techno and trance.
 
For DJ IBON's cut, the Copenaghen based artist delivers a fast driving tune, with sharp synths and crazy pitched voices,  completing a perfect euphoric trance anthem!

Asquith returns to his self-titled label following a couple of external EP announcements for Who's Susan and Private Persons. ‘Rave Til Dawn’ EP sees the London-based artist follow up the massive 'Let Me EP' with another clutch of takes on anthemic, big-room techno.

The title track ‘Rave Til Dawn’ does everything a ‘Let Me’ follow-up should do; huge compressed kicks, reverberating piano stabs and epic call-out vocals collide on an absolute monster A-side. Second track, 'Down', traces a more tool-y techno line. Rolling with the percussion and popping with mechanical energy. It's all compiled with elements of the original techno template shot through with a ton of UK bass weight.

‘Crush’ takes Asquith's manic monotone stab template into more techy territory, opening the production up and leading us into a cocoon of pressurised space. Stripped back but still crushing. Final track 'LCD Steppin'' sees us entering back into pacier territory that regularly pops up at the end of Asquith EPs. Shifting pad samples overlay a rickety jungle break and a voice calling at us to "Step!", before we're hoofed into the long grass with a 4/4 kick all the way up at 155bpm. It's not quite 160 but that's what the pitch slider is for ;)

Having already established itself as an authoritative voice in underground dance music, reputed digital publication Elation Industries recently reinvented itself as a record label earlier this year, opening up a novel avenue for showcasing the finest emerging talents across the spectrum of house, techno and breaks.

Now five releases deep into what’s shaping up to be a rapidly growing oeuvre of exceptional cuts, the Brighton and London-based imprint returns with the label debut from Bournemouth beatmaker Mr. Sosa, who serves up two sublime slices of entrancing house on the Horsepower EP. At just 21 years of age, the young DJ/producer has already released projects on a myriad of acclaimed labels including Viceworks, Clipp.art and Fresh Take, and has garnered support from key house institution Anjunadeep as well as a wide range of global DJs. 

ELA005’s opener and title track “Horsepower” is a progressive piece of aural bliss, entering with retro drum machine samples and an equally nostalgic acid bassline. Furnished by layer upon layer of immersive pads and twinkling synth arpeggios, the vibrant arrangement subtly works its way towards a heady climax, laden with euphoric, spliced vocal samples to make for a wholly exuberant listening experience.


On the project’s flip side, the velvety “Aesthetic Visions” is an equally enticing piece, re-purposing some of the same instruments used on its predecessor to create a markedly different but equally spellbinding atmosphere. As the source of the song’s main melody, the reverberating pads take on an almost whimsical quality. Warm, plucked basslines and flourishes of warped, delayed acid harmonies contribute to the track’s ethereal feel, rendering this number one of the most forward-thinking tracks in the Dorset native’s arsenal. Fans of the more meditative side of the house scene are in for a treat.
