Nature Sounds of Scandinavia hatched in early 2020 whilst working together at a large warehouse located in the middle of nowhere, Sweden, surrounded by nature. Trapped inside this metal bunker with the loud abrasive sounds of the daily grind all the while being surrounded by nature felt so unfair. This led us to the discussion on where to find the best Scandinavian sounds online to mask the distant forklifts and humming vents. The search wasn’t easy. Luckily we had all the tools necessary to go do it ourselves - being hammock swinging wild dogs from a musical background this would be a breeze. Or so we thought..
 
We are Kristoffer & James of Nature Sounds of Scandinavia. We have been leaving the city behind to bring real nature sounds directly to (y)our ears. We have paddled canoes - almost drowned. We’ve been stranded on islands in search for shelter during a storm without proof - batteries for the recorder were left back in the city.
Devotion and a real passion for the wilderness will always be at the centre of this company and is what pushed us for this startup.
