Naiyarah AKA Naurah, born in 1997. 👽

One of the main reasons she started djing is because she used to seek refuge into music and this is the only way she could keep herself grounded. She decided to turn this refuge into her passion and started to learn more about music in lockdown 2021. Her journey began with Lockdown Records where she delivered her first set. The first time she faced a crowd was in July 2021 and since then her journey has proven to be a fruitful one. She collaborated with Musicaholic for a live djing set on 3rd March 2022. Among the styles she learnt and practiced: Techno, Psytrance, Downtempo, Psytech, Dark Prog, are the ones much appreciated by most people. After trying many styles, she has finally adapted herself to Psytech and Darkprog which have always been her favourite. Naurah is currently a resident DJ at DHRK Sonik Radio.

She was inspired by local artists like Kenzo, Mezzle and Jean Michel Rey!
She recently played at events such as 432Hz Mauritius AWAKENING TRIBE FESTIVAL W/LUIS M & ANCIENT TRIBE W/ ADAMA.

Her life quote is : “Be liberal. Do what makes you happy and share music everywhere you go. Be musical and let your surroundings be as musical as you are. Music is an art and a language for me to better express myself through unspoken words.
