"Honor" from HBO TV mini series "The Pacific" (Band of Brothers): This musical piece is one of my favourites and I wanted to arrange it myself (only by ear!) in Cubase 6 using Kontakt Factory Library, Session Strings Pro and Spitfire Audio BML Low Brass. Hope you like it!

My own arrangement of the Game of Thrones intro theme in Cubase 8. I added some brass, woodwinds and choir to create a little more tension and variation from the original track. I'm mainly use plugins from Kompelete 11 ultimate as Symphony Essentals (Strings, brass and woodwinds). I also use 8dio's Adagio Cellos and Soundiron's Requiem Light Choir. Hope you like it!

A Magical Journey Begins

My name is Bård Hestnes and I come from a town in Norway called Trondheim. I write orchestral music for a hobby and I'm always trying to improve my composing skills and I would really appreciate any feedback or comments on my music :) 

I'm looking for projects, either film, game, animation, to work with. So don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested in using my music :)

I'm currently studying to be a teacher in mathematics, nature/science and music. I play guitar in a funk/jazz band called Privilegium and write orchestral music in my homestudio. Music has always had a big influence on my life and still does, even though it's just a hobby at the moment.
