Wandering between the craters, from time to time he cast a glimpse back towards planet earth all those miles away. It was a radiant green and blue against a backdrop of sheer, dense black. The moon was now his home, a place in which he was free to meander and live out life amidst the nothingness, there was little inspiration up here but an endless eternity in which to dream and watch the stars. He was happy snoofing around, lost on a planet millions of miles away from all else. From time to time he would miss home but for now this is what it was for him... 

Moomin is a producer whom we have admired for years, his consistency is remarkable and his take on house music has lead to widely acclaimed praise and respect. His latest EP for Oath is no exception and features music which is as ethereal to listen to as it is dance.

On this comp, the LA based record label takes a world tour, bringing in young promising talent, taking producers from Italy (Arteforma, Marco Biagioli) Taiwan (William Trilogy) to Mexico (Vibeat & Gabriel) and resident Californians (Galen, Mostly Magic). What unites them all is Culprits dedication to creating a brand of warm, inviting house music that is forward thinking but also timeless.

William Trilogy’s “Livin it” is a wonderful track with a bouncing bassline and sultry grooves and vocal samples.

Somewhere in the vicinity of Spaceport 15.
– You got so high last time, – Spacelunch said jokingly.
– Don't tell me, I thought the Minimal Antagonist was alive.
– Hush, fluffy, we should stay incognito at least until we meet with the informant. Don't jump to conclusions — I think that everything happened for a reason.
The streets of Chinatown attracted by the smells of exotic cuisine, what cannot be said about the sudden appearance of the detectives. Anyone who even occasionally felt the inquisitive eyes on them shied away from them. Sellers of all sorts of things were fussily whispering and continuously watching every step of the uninvited guests. The whole block seemed to know about the ongoing investigation. Looking around intently, the professor suddenly came across the strange but very familiar tracks.
"It can't be... the credentials and password turned out to be fake! Cat, follow me!" – Spacelunch made a note in his diary and walked rapidly along the stalls. He knew that the truth was somewhere nearby.

Second Woman is the collaborative project featuring Turk Dietrich of Belong and Joshua Eustis of Telefon Tel Aviv.

Josh and Turk have been friends for over 17 years, having met in New Orleans in the late ’90s through mutual friend and future collaborator, Charlie Cooper. The duo have been working on music together on and off since that time.

The concept of Second Woman began with the idea of taking tropes from footwork, dub, house, and techno, and twisting these ideas into something kaleidoscopically liberated from the grid.
Their work first materialized with two LP’s and an EP on John Elliott and Peter Rehberg’s Spectrum Spools.

Second Woman tweak the perception of time and space within the audio field into something ASMR-inducing and ultimately satisfying to listen to. Both Josh and Turk experience ASMR in response to certain rhythms and sounds, and effort was made to incorporate these triggers into the music, hopefully for other people to experience as well.

With Instant / Apart, Second Woman present their complete signature sound as well as a new, more measured dimension to their work.
