Time stops in the endless stream of sonic transmission. If you dive into Te Iubesc’s webradio channel, one will soon find themselves immersed in a vast comic broadcast. At some point, one slips into distant dreamworlds, transfixed under the colourful spell of the imagination. Traversing dimensions, morphing spaces, an endless accretion of sounds crossing all dots and into uncharted territory.

Listen closely and you’ll find a red thread that brings them all together. Threaded by its Parisian creator, Dawidu, the webradio is a perennial project fuelled by unceasing curiosity and unresolved endings. Also a personal repository of thoughts and emotions, such an eternal broadcast can map histories, but also eventually seems to transcend time itself. Dawidu is the navigator of these timeless worlds, unlimited in the scope of his inquiry, and indefatigable in his search for the undiscovered.

Masterminded by Ricardo Villalobos and named after a group of Russian revolutionaries, laptop supergroup Narod Niki made their debut at MUTEK in 2003. Using the then, relatively new Ableton Live software to network their live jam, some of the biggest names in techno participated in this auspicious performance: Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Akufen, Robert Henke, Dimbiman, Dandy Jack, Cabanne, Luciano and Dan Bell. While bootlegs of this recording have been circulating on the web for a while, this is the first time we have released the recording.

For doing this mix, I took an example from Walrus' earlier FPM radio show and decided to focus on playing unreleased music by friends and myself. There's some people I know well who contributed tracks, some who reached out from way further to share their music. I tried to vary the pace a bit more than what I usually do playing vinyl. The only previously released track here is Sense of Danger by Presence. A track that marked 2022 deeply for me. Shara Nelson's incredible vocal performance on it has become one of my favorite tearjerkers of all time.
