Second preview of No Definition present: deep tales 01 @NayioBitz - How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)

As an original swiss label we have to confess that we love winter, snow and everything that stands for it and comes with it. Another promising winter season is right ahead, at least on our side of the globe. Reason enough to compile an exclusive EP with some previously unreleased tracks to celebrate the upcoming colder season.
The selection has been done by no one else than swiss based DJ and producer NORA EN PURE.
The first issue of our series DEEP TALES contains exclusive music by FUNKEMOTION, a vintage indie dance anthem by NAYIO BITZ, LUKA SWIER's melodic nu disco track TIGER DANS, the dreamy deep house track HEART PAIN by greek ALCEEN & DEEPERISE and a brand new club weapon by underground legend STANLEY ROSS.

Media Blackout are pleased to welcome back Nayio Bitz with his latest 3 track EP 'Love Is Blind'. The opening track 'Studio 54' is a stripped back disco affair utilising a hypnotising vocal as the basis of the track underpinned by a staccatoed bass that gradually eases its way to the breakdown of breaks percussive elements before unleashing into a rising melodic hook intertwined with the infectious vocal cuts.

Title track 'Love is Blind' is an amalgamation of warm bass tones, subtle drum programming and cleverly chopped vocals and intricately weaved chord progressions, building to a beautiful beautiful breakdown before gradually rebuilding the elements to a unrelenting crescendo of breathy vocal licks, chord stabs and an ever warped bassline.  The final track of this release titled, 'I Won't Cry Anymore' delves into deeper territory, which sees lush pads fused with more sultry vocal hits underpinned by Nayio's trademark bass patterns, before all manner of varied melodics weave in and out of the stereo field. An EP that highlights Nayio's continuing maturity and variety in his productions.

Nayio definitely delivered the perfect weapon on his debut with Media Blackout; just close your eyes and get carried away by the exotic house rhythms that will make you dance, like there is no tomorrow.

We are excited to welcome back Nayio Bitz to Media Blackout with his brand new single, 'Stop!' Featuring two ingenious remixes by Media Blackout alumni 'Yura' and 'The Nurk', both peak time monsters that introduce very different elements for different times of the day. Nayio's original use of percussion phrases and the vocal throughout his version reinforces the grooves and adds character to create a distinctive sound that keeps the single fresh and exciting. Full of huge catchy synth lines that lead to instant accessibility.

First up we have Yura's remix which uses the vocals to create funky rhythms over the top of some steaming kick drums, which is going to shatter any dance floor into the universe. Synth stabs lend themselves well across his version where they really augment the flow of the track. The Nurk's interpretation utilizes a groovy, melodic bass that is reinforced using harmonic elements which culminates into a perfect synopsis between a danceable and sunset vibe laid back track with a lot of very interesting elements.

This release is aimed straight at the discerning deep house/nu-disco listeners, who know quality when they hear it. With it's bass driven, swinging synth licks, clever programming; harmonic vocal and remix variations 'Stop!' will no doubt find it's way into the top of the playing charts.
