"Things In Motion" is a radio show dedicated to all things Bass Music, aired every other Friday in Belgium on Jam-RTBF (19:00 UTC+1) and every other Monday in Switzerland on Couleur3 (23:00 UTC+1).

Dans cet épisode de Things In Motion je reçois @ensarrr ! On y discute de la genèse de ses projets et de ses influences en écoutant ses premiers releases Dubstep en tant que Gulivr sur les labels @bassinrecords et @basskruit. Sa transition de Gulivr à Ensarr, un projet résolument plus Electro et UK Garage, qui lui a valu des sorties sur @blackteethrecords ou Onform Records. On discute également de @wafflesukg, un concept anti prise de tête qui regroupe organisation d’événements, DJing et productions musicales, dans lequel il investit beaucoup de son temps. On termine par la présentation de son tout nouveau projet : Lemon & Mint, une collaboration drum&bass/jungle entreprise avec deux potes à lui.

For this second episode of Puzzle, tobha has invited ophélie (they |
them), a talented DJ and producer with an affinity for low frequencies
and bass-heavy music. Their sound often finds itself at the intersection
between dubstep, techno, IDM, with hints of psychedelic music and
trance. They are interested in the fluid, organic, and often melancholic
aspect of music, achieved through combining multiple layers of sounds.

PUZZLE WITH TOBHA & GUESTS — #2 w/ ophélie

Hailing from Brussels, music producer, DJ, and Maloca Records boss, Le Motel effortlessly bridges music and visual artistry.   Le Motel gained critical acclaim with his 2015 breakthrough album ‘OKA’. He has since gone on to start his own imprint, Maloca Records, which has seen him take on new creative endeavours in both his solo work and in collaborations with artists such as Clara!, Bryte, Logan and Magugu.  2023 has been a pivotal year in Le Motel's career having collaborated on a track with UK Grime artist Flowdan for the latest Fabric compilation, composed the soundtrack to Bottega Veneta's AW23 Show and toured China and Canada in the Summer months. His latest release on YUKU experiments with 160bpm polyrhythms and draws on his prior footwork-style music.    Beyond his artistic pursuits, Le Motel's prowess as a DJ continues to enrapture crowds, firmly establishing him at the forefront of the contemporary music and visual arts scene. 

Le Motel's new album ''Odd Numbers / Số Lẻ’ will be released on Balmat February 28th’.

This week we welcome Parisian DJ Joanna OJ onto our mix series. It's a genre-defying journey, blending frenetic bass, syncopated breaks, minimal techno, and experimental IDM. Her sound, a fusion of pulsations and seismic bursts, moves both body and mind, reflecting the nomadic energy of her label, Caninal. This mix, like her Canine à la furie show on Retreat Radio, is a vibrant celebration of the unexpected.
