Salzburg-based favourite Screamarts is next up on Ant TC1’s Dispatch Recordings with his much-anticipated debut project, fresh off the back of his recent standout EP that released with fellow drum & bass stalwarts Flexout Audio, a 5 track collection that we’ve had locked on repeat since its release. Continuing the ever-strong Dispatch charge in typically incandescent form here, Screamarts delivers yet another cracking project, never tied down by those preset boundaries or industry norms - he rolls out sheer-faced, wholly unique steppers with fierce intent, just like he’s always done.

‘Sunk’, which we’ve had the pleasure of hosting for you today, expands on this penchant and prolificacy for shadowed darkness and evil-eyed connotation, providing a rousing workout of minimal murmur, tied together by simply wonderous technical know-how. As debuts go, this is easily one of the best we’ve heard, but that’s no surprise from the enigma that is Screamarts.

OTW Premiere: Screamarts - Sunk [Dispatch Recordings]

Next up to dine at the CIA top table is none other than The Infuriator himself, the infamous T>I. Making serious waves over the last few years to say the least, T>I has become a name synonymous with stripped back and minimal trickery and his ‘Locksmith EP’ brings that trademark Norwich Colmans ping as standard, getting you more than ready to lob your Fray Bentos Chicken & Mushroom across the front room. 

We probably all know that anger that comes when you have to call out ‘The Locksmith’. My guy’s going to sting you for a chunk of cash to drill out your front door. This could be the soundtrack to either the drilling or the murder style the track suggests. 

Sounding possibly repentant for lobbing that pie, but probably not, as they definitely deserved it, ‘Bongolian Belt Roller’ rolls and chugs it’s way alongside its classic soul sample. 

And pies are flying all over the shop with ‘Let It Go’, it’s classic breaks teamed with new school drums and whopping bass stabs. And it sure would be a totally ‘Valid Statement’ to say this EP’s gonna pop off; V style samples and knocking bass taking you to some sweaty underground Bristol rave in 2045. 

T>I brings a true four-course meal to CIA with his Locksmith EP – it’s chewy, not chalky.

If you're a fan of the darker side of the DNB spectrum, then this release has all you could possibly ask for and more. Deep basslines are paired with techy drums from start to finish, creating a moody atmosphere in each and every track, and we can't forget the fact they're all packed with enough sub to rumble any system they touch.

Born in 1994, the brazilian Nicolas Camargo was surrounded by many musical influences on his family. He started to discover his interests in eletronic music in 2000, but discovered Drum and Bass in 2009. It was the year that nCamargo discovered his deepest love in the eletronic music genre, after listening to a radio show on the online radio Bassdrive. On the start of 2010, he started to produce Drum & Bass music, and been focusing on producing the genre and others till now. In 2016 he created NCounter Music, label where will be released music in various styles from his multiple personal projects.

Começou a descobrir os interesses na musica eletrônica por volta de 2000, mas descobriu o Drum and Bass em 2009. Foi neste ano em que nCamargo descobriu um verdadeiro amor pelo estilo, após ouvir um dos shows da radio Bassdrive. No inicio de 2010, decidiu que a produção musical seria o caminho a percorrer e a seguir se aprimorando também em demais estilos musicais. Em 2016 foi criada a NCounter Music, local onde estará sendo feitos lançamentos em diversas vertentes musicais dos variados projetos do produtor.
