I created "Crown" while healing from a level 3 groin strain this summer. 

The instrumental made me feel regal, so "Crown" seemed to be a perfect name. I want the listener to feel crowned when they hear it.

"Skins" is a mellow electronica track that I produced during fall of 2021. 

At the time, I had finished recovering from an intense leg strain that left me immobile for nearly all of the summer, and was returning to the balance of school, work, and music career. I wanted to communicate the positive feeling of recovery with a warmer sound than "You", a slower counterpart to "Skins" I released earlier this year.

As you already know, I was over the moon when Xeoul (fka Alpharaoh), a brilliant producer who had the same artistic vision as me, invited me to collaborate on "Red Planet", one of the songs on his REQUIEM album (nwo.nctrnm.com). He also connected me with Danetronic, another incredible producer who was working on the album and had a lot of experience and creativity.

Together, we mixed my 2022 single, "ID", with the distinctive sound designs of Xeoul and Danetronic, which added a lot of flavor and depth. We created an enrapturing interlude that will make you want to listen to it over and over again.

For my next project, the finale to the PIXEL era, I hope to create something more triumphant. The initial signs of this can be found in a track titled "Ova." The title refers to the female reproductive system and serves as a metaphor for starting over and being reborn—it's a song about rebirth.

The other song is a remastered version of "Atlas," which holds significant meaning for me. I've titled it "Sorry," as it reflects my experience of carrying the weight of the world while still remaining strong, heartfelt, and emotive throughout.

The track "Lighthouse" represents the darkest moment I experienced during a time of crisis. It marks my lowest point up until that time.

This song is the first preview of five from my EP, GEMINI. I wanted to build anticipation throughout the month, so welcome to #NctrnmNovember. This track was created in collaboration with Xeoul during the early months of 2024, when I was experiencing a low point in my life. It marked the onset of my financial hardships, a period that you may know about, as I eventually became homeless for a time towards the end of 2024. However, during the beginning of 2024, I had just started what would have been my penultimate semester at Cal State Fullerton, and things appeared more promising. One aspect that contributed to my brighter outlook at the time was my involvement in this collaborative project.

A slow unraveling before the break. How curious.

"Really" is a leftfield electronic instrumental I made in the final days before a domestic violence incident that changed everything. It is the last song of the album and the relationship of seven adaptive years.

There are no lyrics here. Just ambient textures, downtempo pacing, and leftfield electronica tension. It doesn’t process pain. It precedes it, almost anticipating what’s to come.

Built on a foundation of lo-fi loops and intuitive mobile production, the track captures a moment of eerie calm. Created without conscious knowledge of the trauma ahead, it is still steeped in emotional weight.

It explores space, restraint, and discomfort using sound design to build a psychological atmosphere.

This is the sound of unspoken recognition. A shift. Once a symbol of safety, your buoy becomes the very weapon of your destruction. It evokes the sensation of holding your breath just a little too long.

"Really" opens the final chapter in the PXL arc, marking a pivotal turning point. It is not healing. It is the moment just before rupture.
