Belgian artist passionate about electro sounds and captivating melodies. Funkle Ace was born in Brussels, Belgium. Son of a piano teacher, he started playing the keyboard at an early age. With over 500 tracks to his name, he has collaborated with international artists and his songs have been streamed on various platforms. For a long time, he played with a friend and performed concerts in Belgium, France, and Spain (Burgos, 2 concerts + radio interview on Radio Castilla in 1984). Since then, he has followed his own path and decided to share his unique music style with you. His musical universe navigates between electro, chillwave, and ambient, creating unique and immersive atmospheres. He aims to touch hearts and minds with his music and collaborate with emerging talents to create unforgettable sound experiences. Artiste belge passionné par les sons électro et les mélodies envoûtantes. Funkle Ace est né à Bruxelles, Belgique. Fils d’une professeure de piano, il s’initie très tôt au clavier. Avec plus de 500 titres à son actif, il a collaboré avec des artistes internationaux et ses morceaux ont été diffusés sur plusieurs plateformes de streaming. Durant longtemps, il joue avec un ami et fait des concerts en Belgique, en France, et en Espagne (Burgos, 2 concerts + interview radio Castilla en 1984). BBAM, born within @KRTProduction (Brussels), is the vision of @FunkleAce : songwriter, composer, performer, and producer. Blending Reggae, Dub, Electro, and underground sounds, BBAM delivers immersive, powerful, and free-spirited music, where each track is a unique sonic journey.

Based in California's Inland Empire, Nctrnm (Matthew McGilvery) creates instrumental electronic music and new media art, exploring the intersections of sound, visuals, movement, and text. His practice is distinguished by a mobile-centric production methodology, leveraging accessible technology for creative innovation and crafting immersive experiences.
Nctrnm constructs detailed sonic environments weaving analog-inspired textures with minimalist grooves and integrated field recordings. 

Drawing influence from downtempo, electronica, shoegaze, and ambient techno, his work prioritizes atmosphere, intentionality, and emotional resonance. This distinct approach is informed by his background in Decision Science (CSU Fullerton), employing principles of design thinking and behavioral strategy to shape evocative soundscapes.
His evolving discography includes foundational releases EQUINOX (2018), TRACES (2019), and NOVA (2021). These works paved the way for the textured explorations of his EPs FLUX (2023) and GEMINI (2024). Nctrnm's forthcoming fourth album, PXL, scheduled for release in late summer 2025, promises a deeper dive into themes of transition, loss, and identity.

Beyond music production, Nctrnm's multidisciplinary portfolio includes generative video, motion graphics, and interactive installations, often shared via Instagram (@nctrnm) and showcased at site-specific events. His live performances synthesize VJing, choreography, and narrative components into cohesive multisensory experiences. McGilvery further contextualizes his projects through critical writing and artist discussions shared via his personal blog and online Q&As.

I've grown up in the 80s and I like the music of that era very much. That's the decade that inspires my instrumental music which, I think, is a bit evocative of that period. I always try to choose, where possible, the sounds and some chord sequences that give the feel of that era.
