This is actually my third collaborative endeavour with Toby, and without a doubt the most successful. Each of the tracks we've made together over the years have been named after the roads we lived on at the time, and this track is no exception.  

We enjoyed making this track immensely, and spent the first few days of the production process playing guitar and getting merry. After two or three days of recording instruments, making sounds and jamming out ideas, I eventually took the project back to my new studio and finished it off a few days later. This track has served me very well as my set opener for some time, and has always set the mood perfectly for whats to come.

Bad Tango & Polymetrics - At The Edge [OUT NOW!]

Yo yo! I'm seriously glad to finally be sharing this track with you, it took an exceptionally long time to write. This is the A-side to my next EP for Broken Robot Records, and has been my end of set track for some time. I really tried to push my knowledge of sound design to the limits during it's making and in the process learned a whole bunch of techniques that i'd simply be lost without.

I decided to take a more techno inspired path for this one: maintaining a simple evolving bassline and shuffly percussion, but also adding in some wobbles and squelches for good measure. Desert Trax is thrilled to bring fans a star-studded remix pack for ”Saraswati's Twerkaba,” the smash lead track from Desert Dwellers' Clear Path compilation, which was originally released in 2016 by Sofa Beats. The exotically innovative original from Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe sees the Desert Dwellers blending their signature downtemple dub sounds with global club flavors. It was inspiration enough to draw in a wide range of remixers amped to take on the task.

French guitarist and glitch sensation CloZee joined forces with LuSiD for an earthy, percussive take. Southern California bass legend David Starfire leaned more into the clubby side of the yoga twerk track. Mindex and Landswitcher both went dark and dangerous on their respective remixes, pulling heavily from the subsonic sampling and fearlessly pushing the track into the cavernous abyss. Patiently building from mild murmur to full on twisted roar, Nanosphere stretches Saraswati into a psy opus. Israeli sensation TRIBONE stripped the cut down all the way to its primal, midtempo stomp, and there is no doubt his take will turn dance floors loose with its relentless pulse.

The “Saraswati's Twerkaba” remix pack features 8 tracks with 40+ minutes of music and is available July 17th on all major sites worldwide.
