On the beach (Instrumental)

Improvisation - The intention before recording was to create a heavy (metal) piece *rofl*. Found that drum patterns on Addictive Drums. Liked it and used it :-). Next was to do the bass. I recorded it purely improvised (as all instruments on this track) with my ESP 5-string.
I used a Takamine TAN-16 for the accoustic rhythm track.
For lead I used my Gibson B.B.King Lucille wich I sadly sold shortly after. The little slide addon's where done with my Fender Tele '52 Road Worn. Hope you enjoy. Comments are always appreciated :-)))

Lazy Afternoon

I have learned this little nice tune many years ago.
Not knowing the original at the time i'd always played it  too fast :D. I decided to do this recording in my own tempo.
Although i'm not a singer, i sang it myself. Nevertheless i hope, someone will like it :-)

This track is based on "Bassdance (Demo)". I've lost the Cubase-files of this project, so I had to play everything again (exept the drums, comming from "Studio Drummer" by Native Instruments)). The result is a more complete version wich i really like.
Hope, someone will do that too ;-))))).
By the way, if someone has an idea for lyrics and vocals, pls feel invited to add something :DDD. Download, sing, post....:-)

Sonia, the gifted singer on this cover has left this world on August the 14th 2016. She was afraid of singing not good enough to Alphio's and my track. But I have to say, I myself was afraid of playing not good enough to support her fascinating voice well. She was a unique warmhearted person and she will greatly be missed.

Loved this tune since it came out in 1983!. Was a great honor being asked by Alphio to play the guitar on this collab. Was a great pleasure working with Sonia, who gives this a very nice flavour with her voice and Alphio, who did a fantastic job with the instrumentation. Thank you very much, Sonia and Alphio!!! Great job on the instruments, Alphio!!! I think the track became a very special version of this fantastic Eurythmics song. Have fun!!!! ;-)))))

I love classical music and I love Rock and heavy guitar sounds, so I had to mix both worlds together in one track.
The classic guitar part is based on Robert de Visée's Bourrée in d-minor.

Sunday Night Whisky Blues (Don't drink and play!!! ;-)) >A bit reworked<

My next more heavy track. At first there was the bass. It is inspired by the bass sound of Peter Steele from Type 0 Negative (May he rest in peace).  Second I wanted to add a classical element again. This time I put an oboe into this track :-))). 
All instruments were played by me, except the drums which came from addictive drums 2, as usual ;-).

Inner Chaos

My first collaboration with the very talented Yana Smutina. 

After listening to her music and reading the permanent collab-invitation on her page, I asked her if she would be interested to do a collab with me. She was :-) … a few weeks later *LOL*.

I thought, “Somebody Help Me” https://soundcloud.com/yana-smutina/somebody-help-me-music-and-words-yana-smutina would be great stuff to create a Rock ballad from.
Yana agreed and sent me the track stems after recording the whole thing again in a local studio. So I got voice and acoustic guitar separated for mixing and was able to add my spices to it. 

It was a pleasure to work with her. She always gave me great constructive feedback - what was great, what wasn’t and what has to be changed or replaced. The cello for in- and outro was her idea. I had a piano in my first song sketch, but now I think, the cello fits way better instead  😊 . To cut the song in two pieces and put a heavy solo passage into the gap was Yana’s idea too. She asked me to paint a musically picture of hell - “…a musical picture of hell with "Thunder and lightning”...”. I tried to do my best then – if I may mention that devil’s fart at the end of the solo? *ROFL*.

I added a solo acoustic and percussion (played with master keyboard).
Had some timing probs but was fun to do it ;-)).

Here comes a new collab with the exeptional talented Glen Granthem https://soundcloud.com/the-glen-granthem-band. He handed out a very nice track to us SC lead guitarists for adding our spices to it. I added my guitar to it then and send it back to Glen. He then replaced the originally intended acoustic guitar with an electric guitar and added some vocals to it. I like the outcome very much and hope you'll do too.

A few weeks ago I've downloaded an open collab called "Father's Day" whitch was initiated by Tom Adams https://soundcloud.com/user-342548892. Based on that I wanted to play a new "2 parts he/2 parts me-thing" then. Nothing wrong with this ;-)). Shortly after I began to jam a bit to Tom's track, Lawrence https://soundcloud.com/awrencearr wrote a message. He told me that he'd just recorded some vocals for that Adams track and invited me to play guitar on his version.
After giving a listen to it I happily agreed to do a 3 piece set with Tom and Lawrence ;-))). I really like what was coming out and hope you will do too. Thank's a lot Tom and Lawrence. Both are greats here on the cloud for sure!!!!

I'm a german guitarist who always wants to play better than he can *lol*. I love the sound of the guitar and I love guitars, their beauty and their smell. Never can get enough.
I wanted to make music since I was a little kid. I urgently wanted a guitar since the age of 10, I think. Unfortunately I got my first (classic) guitar not until the age of 18 because there was not enough money to buy one earlier. Well, since I've got my first guitar I nearly play every single day one of my darlings ;-).
Making my music public on the cloud is really a great thing for me. I love this community. Such fantastic musicians here...
I'm always interested in collaborating with talented musicians.
