Part 2 of Yacht Disco is here! A tad early. That is because this weekend I will be attending the Day Trip Festival in Long Beach so I won't have time to record it then. I am actually playing on Saturday at the festival on the Shoreline Stage from 2 to 3:30 pm. Then Sunday I will be there all day to see and hear the headliners of that day.

I want to thank @djmartintaylor for giving us another great guest mix last week which actually gave me a chance to re-work part 2 of Yacht Disco. It was already recorded but during the week I got my hands on new music that was appropriate for it and it gave me the chance to extend it. I don't think you will mind :)

In 2000, Ricardo pioneered sharing his mixes online, a bold and innovative step that garnered him international recognition. This exposure led to global performances and opportunities, while he also became a syndicated radio host on satellite and online platforms.

Recently, Ricardo partnered with Germany’s Nu Disco Your Disco (NDYD), a leading advocate for the Nu Disco genre. Their collaboration birthed the NDYD Radio Show, which Ricardo hosts weekly, showcasing top global talent and steadily growing a loyal listener base. For Ricardo, Nu Disco offers a modern bridge for the soulful West Coast vibe to resonate with newer generations.

While underground music trends have evolved over the decades, Ricardo’s passion remains unwavering: playing music that inspires people to get up, dance, and celebrate the timeless groove of house music.
