One of the top mixes I listened this year!

This week we have a special guest mix by a talented artist from Seattle who has the most episodes on the program besides myself. He has been a regular guest on the show since its inception so many years ago and has become a very, very good friend that I love like a brother - @ajax-6

I want to include part of the message he wrote when he sent me the mix:

"Welp here we are, my 7th annual NDYD Show Guestmix!  Hard to believe it's been this long, the only thing I've done longer with more consistency in my life is DJing itself with almost 17yrs under my belt.  Like every mix I've shared through your show I consider them school years and this mix concludes my schooling with this one being my Doctorate, next I'll have to be a returning professor:)  I went back to my roots with a softer beachy feeling to get things going seeing as we're at the end of summer, letting it drop into a deeper darker second half and then rounding it out with a Sade remix."

He is one of the nicest, most consistent, and talented music lover that I have met over the years in this crazy night life and music community. He embodies the positiveness, values, and loyalty that House Heads live by. I can't wait to share the decks with him again because when I play with him he brings out the best in me.

Ricardo Torres is a West Coast DJ whose sound blends deep, soulful house and disco with the smooth, sun-kissed energy of Los Angeles. His mixes are crafted for true dance floor devotees—uplifting, groovy, and deeply rooted in the underground.
