Welcome back to the NDYD Radio Show. A tad late because I was in the middle of doing another set for the radio station KXLU here in Los Angeles. Once they air the show early this week I will post the archive here because it's so deep. I really like how it turned out. Nothing to take away from EP322 because I also like how this one turned out. It's ready for the dance floor and if this episode doesn't make you move then you should probably check your vitals :) 

Speaking of shaking it on the dance floor if you are in LA Sunday Nov 19th then stop by Station 1640 in Hollywood as I'll have the opportunity to close out the night at that club right after the legendary Derrick Carter does his thing. Ricardo Torres is a West Coast DJ whose sound blends deep, soulful house and disco with the smooth, sun-kissed energy of Los Angeles. His mixes are crafted for true dance floor devotees—uplifting, groovy, and deeply rooted in the underground.

Ricardo began his DJ journey in 1987 at a college radio station in Montreal, later discovering Chicago House and falling in love with its raw emotion and rhythm. After moving to Los Angeles in 1995, he found inspiration in the city’s soulful spirit and from influential DJs like Jay-J, Marques Wyatt, Julius Papp, Mark Farina, and Miguel Migs.

An early pioneer of online mix sharing in 2000, Ricardo quickly gained international recognition, leading to global performances and radio syndication. In 2016, he partnered with Germany’s Nu Disco Your Disco (NDYD) to launch the NDYD Radio Show, a weekly showcase of modern Nu Disco and soulful house that continues to attract a devoted worldwide audience.

Across decades and evolving trends, Ricardo’s mission remains the same: to share music that uplifts, connects, and celebrates the enduring groove of house.
