At 22, Born and raised in Fort
Worth, TX Shaniqua Williams
was brought up in a church
house hold. Being the shy one
out of 4 siblings, she decided to
break out and step out of her
box. She started singing at prep
rallies and games at her school.
She began singing at the age of
11 in a group called Divine
Praise performing at different
churches. This intellectual,
inspirational poet, songwriter,
and singer sure has made a
statement for herself. She
wanted to branch out and
broaden her horizons. At the age
of 14 she was introduced to
Michael Seay,producer of Mix
Breed Production in Fort Worth
which opened a lot of doors for
her. With her unique style and all
her talent she branched off to
live bands; State of Mind, Ultra
Sound, Knice 2 Know, Southern
Comfort, and Malcome and The
Road Crew are just some to
name a few. She caught a break
along the way being backup
singer for Pastor Sean Reed.
They have opened up for Multi
Award Grammy Winner Kirk
Franklin, Nominated Grammy
Winner Vicki Winans, and
National Recording Artist Gaye
Arbuckle-Sneed. It was a
blessing for her, she was
introduced to Multi-Grammy
producer/CE0 of Song Book,
Troy Taylor, home of Trey Songs. Now she is the newest member and lead singer for one of Dallas' baddest bands, Soulful Soundz.
This now 26 year old, multi-genre artist is ready
to take on the world.
