Masquerade Mat

Known for channeling his Balkan heritage through his sound, Goro takes this to another level with this first single from his album Unbound Forever. Sourcing inspiration from local, yet undiscovered by the world genres, such as Romanian “Instrumentala Criminala”, older forms of Turkish Bubbling and classical Bulgarian-Roma Kiuchek, the micro-tuned track puts this sound in a contemporary, club- ready form, and emphasises the rawness of the sound by adding a half-time gabber kick. This song features the Belgian producer and keyboardist Sattva - the mastermind behind the up-and-coming band Collective Conscience, and a close friend, Goro has met through his daily meditation practice, he is also credited on two more pieces on the album.
