The name derives from a bit of a fascination with the strangeness of non-euclidian spaces, and also 5/4 rhythms.

The song starts in 5/4 but feeling rather normal and mellow, like when you view a non-euclidian geometry from a certain still angle. Then it starts a mysterious transition as things change in unusual ways. Towards the end it completely bends into absurdity as the idea sinks in that those changes you saw were just your point of view shifting, and that all those permutations remain there.

The Euclidian Membrane

This track came from a dream after watching some experimental films by Ines Li Ying.  In this dream, a son was showing his dad some music he wrote on a vinyl record.  The music was intended to fit a film his dad was editing during the summer.  He constantly played it on the projector in his house.  There were a lot of colors in the film and they followed the colorful landscape of nature.
