021 | THE SOUND OF:  FUKUMACHI

The following series was founded to acknowledge producers for their influence on shaping the sound in the electronic music genre while simultaneously showcasing the distinctive musical style of each artist, featuring both released and unreleased music in an all-original podcast format.

K92 aims to reintroduce a sense of mystery surrounding artists by bringing back the focus on the music itself and creating a blank slate for listeners to develop their own interpretations. As a result, the sets on this platform do not include any press photographs or biographies. Instead, each set has been personally signed by the artist to complete their signature sound.

dxrvo invites MARRGIAN & Ek-sistenz 

This 4h long hybrid set was recorded on August 3rd 2024 in Magdeburg (@geheimclub) It marks the first time the trio played a hybrid set in a club atmosphere and a big step toward their goal of integrating more and more live elements in the future. The setup consisted of the Moog DFAM and Mother-32 as well as a Roland Tr-8s drum machine, all layered on top of two CDJs using a Xone:96.  For this performance, the artists intentionally prepared as little as possible with the goal of creating a mix that truly represents the emotions and the connection to the dancefloor which they felt throughout the night. As such, most of the live elements that can be heard here were spontaneously jammed in during the performance — some more or less happy accidents included. But can you really have one without the other..? 

The final result: an energetic soundscape filled with lots of eerie, hypnotic synths, rolling percussions and deep baselines, all inspired by ecstatic screams and shouts from the dance floor.

I’m grateful to the @hoerberlin team for the opportunity to perform on their platform. It was a true privilege to share my DJ set with their listeners.

I took a unique approach for this set, primarily showcasing original, unreleased tracks that I produced.

Every piece you heard was 100% my own original music.

The excitement of sharing this new work was electric. Crafting a nearly hour-long set of fresh sounds was both challenging and immensely rewarding.

This time, the third edition of my Dancefloor Diaries takes you into the pulsating atmosphere of the SYN x VALOR party at ÆDEN Berlin. In the early morning of 25 October, dxrvo and Ynk played an intense b2b set recorded on four decks from 06:00 to 08:00. At a powerful 145 BPM, they enveloped the dancefloor in a hypnotic maelstrom of deep, driving beats and energetic tension.

This recording is a dynamic sonic tapestry of pulsating bass and infectious rhythms - an invitation to immerse yourself in a trance-like world that permeates every step and movement. Embark on this sonic journey and feel the energy of this special night, which remains alive in every second of the set.
