Three in one

This is the first album released by Canadian music producer Kevin MacInnis. The album is an exploration of natural soundscapes and immersive deep listening. The objective of the album is to provide the listener with an open, slow moving musical experience which will allow them to find a greater sense of mental stability and calmness. 

Each track begins and ends with a soundscape of one of the primary "elements" of life - fire, earth, air, water, rain. The last track, "Beyond" is that which is beyond what our human earthly experience can sense or comprehend, which is just as vital to the universe as all other elements.

'PROXIMITY DESIRE' is the 13th full-length album from experimental-electronic producer Ohsaurus.

"Proximity Desire is about the necessity of human connection beyond mere digital acknowledgement. In this modern age of social media, artificial intelligence, augmented reality and remote working, the 'art' of platonic physical intimacy is en route to irrelevance. Proximity Desire is, in essence, a statement on human interaction and the role our physical manifestations play in the propagation of ideas and energy.

Using a sonic palette of future sounds, fuzzy synthesizers and crunchy drum loops, I set out to communicate this deeply personal, eager, anxious, and sometimes exhausting concept. Nestled in the framework of an assortment of electronic genres, PD is a bath of aural texture and emotion. Sizzling distortion and digital winds for the backdrop for melodic synthesizers and stuttering guitar riffs."
