Donovan originally started his djing experience in '94 in southern ontario playing techno at open deck gigs in a local internet cafe in Kitchener Ontario. called "GO internet cafe". Living in one of the cities at the forefront of transforming tech-house into what it is today, he has had a lot of humbling experiences watching and learning from some of the largest heavy hitters in the tech house and techno scene  .
